I just love these old black and white episodes! Really enjoyed Julie Vernon's singing...makes me wish we knew exactly what happened to all of the guests that got highlighted over the years! (I did a quick search for Julie...there was a singer named "Julie Vernon" in Jan Garber's band...wonder if it's the same singer!) And that novelty song in the grocery setting was super sweet! And seeing Betty White!!! Thanks for uploading this and preserving it!

I too really enjoy the much older shows. For instance, this show had a wonderful young singer I think Welk should have hired.
The electric guitar was a very new instrument in 1957!!!
Interesting the men who played the clarinet looked like Benny Goodman!!!
Tiney had to be very young then in a lawrence welk union in later years shows tiney and the following pianist Joanne
Castle together!!!
In the 1950s women still depended on men!!!
