I’ve never fed my green tree frog meal worms. Also, I don’t tong feed any of them either. So I’m not sure if the tree frogs would find them before they borrow into the substrate. The chubby frog might take them from tongs. I’ve had my pet stores run out of crickets and I had to run around to several places to find crickets. You might try a bait store.
I thought about this a little bit more. If you put a feeding ledge about two thirds up in the enclosure, like the ones you use for crested geckos, and put the worms in that, the tree frogs might actually go for that.
@@WonderfulWorldReptilesI just feed them in a separate container they eat mealworm no issues, I just put the frog in there and then put the mealworm in there and once they see it wiggle they lick it up in an instant
Pet stores near me are out of the small crickets right now. What is the correct way to feed mealworms to our green tree frogs and chubby frog?
