I love the velvet ribbons they just add just a beautiful touches to where ever one puts them. Never would have thought of using real dried hydrangeas they looked absolutely beautiful in the tree along with the birds nest and the two lovely lady birds ( Ludu and Hildegard ) so adorable. I’ve been doing a garden tree for years.I dry my sea holly and spray paint it also stone crop sedum dries great also.Pine cones I collect at the cottage.I also use my firelight hydrangeas.Beautiful job right up my alley.Having are first snowfall today from Ontario.

Love your layering, Bev. My neighbor gave me some hydrangeas. I'm drying them now. I too love to bring in natural items. I glued acorn tops back on and painted the acorns. The larger ones I painted a light copper gold. Will MAke a pine cones wreath . The tree is exquisite.
