Just another tutorial for replacing belts in a Sony TC-WR535 cassette player. Also some tips in there for if the cassette bays are stuck closed or not playing properly.
The TC-WR635S has the same exact mechanism so if anyone has that one or the one you have it’s super easy to install new belts! Found one at the goodwill for 10$
Hey man, your video came in CLUTCH with repairing my unit, especially when I had to set the fly wheel in the specific area. Hail Mary question though: after assembling everything, the right side works flawlessly, but the left side eats my tape every time. Fast forward and reverse work a bit slow, but every time I hit play in the left side, the right head refuses to turn, causing the tape to get eaten. Any ideas what it is?
