Great review Allan.... That pool is way smaller than I thought. I was on the fence about booking this hotel. Not sure now. ;)
Bob, during the next weeks, I'll be having videos about 3 4 and 5-star hotels in Pattaya. Maybe you'll find the one that will suit you!
I’ve booked the Areca Lodge. It’s a decent hotel with a pool and breakfast.
I think the point of the transparent window is to make sure your "guest" isn't rifling thru your personal belongings when you use the head.
That would be quite specific to Pattaya 😁, but you find these windows separating the bathroom and the room everywhere in the world now!
I thought it was so you could watch your wife having a bit of How's yer Father with the guests that she brought back to the room..... or perhaps that's just me ...
Is it guest friendly?
I don't have any idea about it.
9:51 Aren't Papaya and Mangoes out of season now???
You find them in all seasons now
@@WanderlustReports Really? Not in Isaan. Perhaps they are elsewhere.
Very likely of course but there are non growing here and non in the local markets that's for sure..Loads of Dragon Fruit though mate!!
5* more like a 3.....mini bar with 2 water 😅
There was a paper sheet in the rrom saying that if you wanted the minibar filled up, you'd have to call reception.

Thanks 🙏
pattaya is a whocker city, and thats it.
Well, if I look at the number of views I get, it seems that Pattaya interests people...
This appears to be barely even a 3 star hotel IMO
I'd say 4-star, to the least. But the official classification is 5-star.
Room is small, no privacy toilet/battoom, awful view, small swimming pool, It’s more a 3 star hotel
Privacy is easy to set if wanted. You can discuss the 5th star, but it's definitely not a cheap 3-star hotel...
