Disappointed that you couldn't just wash you hair and reapply the product. Seeing the consistency of the paste and how it applies (smooth or tugging) is one of the most important things when choosing a hair product.

Great review! Just finished baxter clay pomade, and looking to change for a new daily driver. Would you recommend SR northern lights or this? Want good hold that last all day but also want my hair to feel natural because I often play with it
jerry chaseman Try GBS Hair Control Wax...BOMB!! Thick ass wax cream which contains kaolin; creamy paste in appearance/texture but aspects of a clay. Applying small amout at a time is key..easy to go overboard and then hair looks like shit. Well mine at least..unless u want a heavy slick. If applied right u can get the best of both worlds. I prefer a shitload of body..solid hold on my executive contour💯🔥💧

I have this. Performs very poorly in tropical weather. Loses shape, flattens out, you name a negative, it does it. The only positive is that it looks soft and beautiful; but that's pointless if it doesn't perform.

@@xoilse never tried nostalgic but nostalgic is probably lighter. Ubersuave matte is good for short hair but its not fully natty

I haven't tried this but O'Douds is terrible.
@@ShadowJ20 how is it terrible, I've finished a whole Odoud's jar and found no problem with it, besides the fact that I couldn' t wash it out with just water, but overalls a solid product
Because it is way too dry.
@@CrossFire20001 I threw my jar into the trash after using it a couple times. It was so dry, it just fucking hurt to apply that shit. I admit it has great hold and a good finish. But all that was not worth the hell of application
