Hey Matt, that 3126 is a HEUI. Meaning it's a really similar fuel system to your 6.0powerstroke, in that the injectors run on oil pressure. You may have a fuel issue, but most of the time it is a High Pressure oil issue. Sometimes the HPOP is making pressure, but the ICP sensor wont read the minimum needed to fire the injectors. Fill or prime the fuel system until the handle is hard on primer. Try unplugging the ICP sensor and starting the truck on brake clean or starting fluid. Also make sure there is plenty of oil in the engine. While it's running off starting fluid have someone watch for tachometer and oil pressure. If you don't have tach, it could be ecm power or crank/ cam sensor issue. If you still arent getting and injectors clicking, sometimes the power wires to the ECM get a bit corroded and need repaired or replaced. Wish we were right there, we could put the computer on it and get an idea of exactly what's going on really quick. Good Luck!
Commented before I saw this. But I'll bet you are righter than I. Would priming the fuel lines at the injectors be helpful. Or is that not necessary on a HEUI?
@@othfarmin7959 No real way to prime at each injector, because it only has a fuel rail(passage) in the head. Fuel just flows through the head with a regulator/orfice at end of head or return line making sure there's base fuel pressure. So it pretty much self bleeds as long as you have a good transfer pump or primer.
Well, there was stuff i didn't originally think about when writing my comment lol, cam and crank sensors i forgot, simplist crank no start cause side from a fuse, but then again if he can get it to start with starter fluid wouldnt those be good ? I mean isn't the ecm trying to start it ?
One of these buildings would be good to offer to a local fire department for training. I took part of a controlled burn for training many years ago on an abandon farmhouse. Very valuable experience for new volunteers.
Plus it's really cool to watch. And, since @OffTheRanch is pretty damn famous, I'd be willing to be they'd allow him to participate in the less dangerous stuff and create some cool interesting content for the channel
Would definitely be cool for “training “purposes, although with the current burn ban and very stringent EPA rules(at least in my state) it would be a challenge. It’s doable, just have to remove all Asphault shingles, carpet, vinyl siding and things of that nature if it’s present. I’ve taken part in quite a few controlled structure burns and it’s definitely beneficial to young firefighters and the landowner in many ways.
My parents did this as well, it's very valuable experience. Of course it needs to be done when there isn't a fire risk. And it would be excellent content.
Matt, you should have your local Fire Department out to the property for a "Burn to Learn". They are a fantastic training tool, and it would make an awesome video!
I had exactly the same idea. When I was going to comment, I read yours and thought wtf. Since it's a Demolition channel, we want to see these buildings being demolished in different ways. Greetins from Brazil
Hey demo crew. Just wanted to make sure your thinking of some of us folks that tent camp too. Not everyone can afford or prefers those fancy campers. Some of us use tents. Love what you guys are doing! Hope to come visit one day.
Matt has mentioned something about tent campers in other videos, I'm guessing they'll have to prep an area for it with like water and power hookups first and have the ground be some sort of soil for tent pegs, I don't fancy trying to tie my tent into that stone. It'll probably come when the RV hookups are sorted out because they'll need power too and I imagine the two wouldn't be far from each other
Matt, just a word of advice Id wait to pave until you are completely done with equipment in the area, those tracks can tear that asphalt up, and at prices of $300 per ton, per layer (youd probably atleast put down base and intermediate course.) Also, make sure the company you hire has someone ensuring density! You want a minimum of 95%!
Some community fire departments let you donate properties for emergency services and arson investigation training. Basically, call up the chief and tell them you want to them to destroy a property, they send someone in to set the fire, a team goes through rescue operations, and the training investigator has to determine how the blaze was set.
Rent a stone crusher for all the concrete/stones from the buildings so you can reuse it for gravel roads / hiking trails / parking lot so you don’t have to fill the dumpsters with concrete/stones
While it was probably well-manicured back in the day, the disc golf course probably still had a bunch of trees purposefully left to provide some challenge for shots and lines. That'd be an amazing thing to get cleaned up and useable again!
Ask the Professional Disc Golf Association to recommend a course designer to have a look, because removing all the trees from tee to green could ruin a great course.
You need to get an RV dump station for sewage. Also it would be good to get electric ran for camp sites. It's going to be very costly. And maybe even a public restrooms with showers.
Disc golf baskets are almost always put in the trees, being placed behind obstacles like trees and rocks and many other things is what makes disc golf so challenging. Disc golf could attract thousands of people to the Abandoned Resort. It's fantastic fun.
Matt please be careful when cleaning the debris of the terrace on the north side of the main house please. It took me almost 2 month's to completely build it. I personally built and set all the forms, hand dug all the perimeter & interior beams set and tied all the rebar poured all the concrete struck off all the concrete and stripped the forms. Dug up the rock that was used for the walls and that separates the 2 levels. That whole terrace was 1 big concrete pour I even poured those 6 steps going down towards the overlook at the same time. So I beg you please be careful that would kill me if something would happen to that terrace.
Wow Mark, so glad you found this TH-cam to give such great insight and advice! You can tell so much hard work was put into so much of the buildings on this property. There is no way you can replace the quality in the materials today when rebuilding. I hated to see the 8 room building come down but he must have a good plan for something better. You, as a building contractor at the Ranch, in some aspects it must be difficult to see all this but on the other hand, it has to be gratifying to see it being rebuilt after a fire and closure. Life sure has its changes.
Just a thought: It might be worthwhile taking inventory of each tear-down building's fittings to do architectural salvage of some components like electrical fittings, door-knobs, lighting fixtures, wiring etc. Not only will the salvage help recoup some of the sunk cost via scrap recycling but reusing some components in any new construction will definitely help keep costs down when planning and budgeting for new structures as well as retain some of the history of the previous venue.
Make sure you put full thoughts into the RV plan by the river, number of spots, concrete pads or hard pack spots, people are going to complain about no hookups, what happens if the river foods the area. Just cover your bases.
All that construction debris would probably be useful as the base to your shooting range safety berms. It would save a ton of cash longterm. Someone else mentioned a rock crusher, that would be an excellent start. All that old cement block and stonework you're not saving to restore would be a bada$$ foundation for a safety berm. Good luck!
Matt Once you get that disc golf course redone and you have hotel space available, you could hold a disc golf tournament. You could even reach out to the PDGA to see if you can have them put your course as a part of their tour.
Was just watching back on some of the last abandoned mansion videos and i saw the one about restoring the hand painted vaquero mural, and thought, that would fit AMAZING at The Deperado, plus the buildings in the back instantly reminded me of the ones on the resort. Hi Guys. Next time you want to tear down a wood frame house place the chain at around 3 feet of the ground. Just put a few nails at 3 feet on the edges in the Back (away from Truck) to lift the Chain of the ground. If you leave the Chain on the Ground it needs to sheer all the anchor Bolts and all of them are stronger than any chain. .
Disc golf course at the Desperado?! I didn't think I could like this project more. You have enough property and will have enough accommodations, you could have a DGPT or PDGA NT level course and draw in a couple thousand people to your resort.
I saw the last solar eclipse in 2017 when I was in college in Carbondale (the point of longest duration). IT WAS AMAZING. I can not stress this enough, you HAVE TO SEE IT. pictures do not do it justice. make your kids see it, make your dad see it. MAKE EVERYONE SEE IT. It is a super special event that if you can go see you HAVE to go see. videos/pictures/descriptions do not do it justice in the slightest, it is the single most indescribable thing I have ever seen, and that moment will be a memory for the rest of my life.
Would 100% be staying at the resort not only to show love but Texas is a beautiful place and no doubt after seeing the last project this one will be beautiful as well!!
Matt, diesels are a little finicky sometimes. need to crack the lines at the injectors and bleed until you get fuel to the top of each then tight as you work back from first injector to rear injector. only way to get it all out.

I got to see a total eclipse in middle Tennessee a couple of years ago, and it was EPIC!!! My wife made a huge day of it, we had a picnic at the park, got special glasses from the local optometrist, and I will never forget it... so worth seeing if you never have or seeing again!!! We attached the glasses to paper plates for the little ones to make sure they were protected. It was amazing!
Besides crushing the rocks, old concrete and cement block for base rock for your roads, you could make berms for your shooting ranges. No cost of hauling it off and crushing it on-site is way cheaper than buying base rock for the roads! I can't wait for the next video to come out on any of your channels. Keep up the great work!
When the disc golf course eventually gets set up you can host tournaments. The Desperado Open has a nice ring to it. Texas has a huge disc golf scene. There’s a Pro Tour event in Waco every year
Get a fuel line wrench 🔧 or a regular wrench and crack open each injector ‘loosen each injector line half turn and then crank motor till fuel starts coming out when you see fuel tighten that injector and crank it again till you have fuel at each injector
I really want Matt to save the old burned down building's ruins and turn it into an outdoor restaurant. If I were him, I would hire an architect make a detailed drawing of the Ruins currently, demolish the ruins, salvage and clean all the stones. Then have an engineer and the architect redesign the ruins so that they will be stable and safe. Pour in a new slab, and rebuild the ruins with working fireplaces.
We saw that last big eclipse in totality. We drove to Kentucky to see it. It was one of the most jncredible things I've ever seen. 360 degree sunset. Truly unbelievable. I would definitely travel again to see it!
I've been a fan of Demolition Ranch for about 7 months now, and just recently started watching Off the Ranch. I'm also a Disc Golfer, and I really hope you keep the disc golf course. My goal is to come visit the resort when it's finished, I'd love to play disc golf when I'm there.
You should set up some sort of early signup for the Eclipse. Sort of early access, for a limited few with special bonus, and if for some reason the ranch isn't ready they get priority treatment for when it does. Kickstart the ranch essentially, help to offset some of the cost of renovation.
10 minutes in and 10,000 view, excellent job Matt. Love it when you bounce around and show us a lot. Loving following your journey. Texas was never on my bucket list but you are making me want to come and see it.

April 2024 is not far away. I can't wait to see the resort really come together. Matt definitely has the motivation to get it done, but it's gonna take a lot of labor, contractors, and equipment. I wish you the very best success in the resort and all other ventures.
@@Mina_AngelHe had the bones of their house and more already ready and it still took like six months to finish it. 2024 might be permanently open, for RVs, but it won't be permanently open for the rest of it, no way.
That’s sick!! You guys are in the path of the eclipse too!! I’m up in northern Maine right on the Canadian border we are the last stop for it in the continental United States! My home town is the exact path the eclipse is taking 💪🏼
I was at the last total solar eclipse in 2017 in Oregon. it was amazing and definitely recommend people to experience it. albeit a short experience but something you won't forget. hopefully weather is clear. Would totally go out there
Biggest issue with burning the stuff is from the EPA due to the shingles and other asphalt and petroleum products. We run into this on fire department when people ask use to burn an old building for training. We tell them once they remove the shingles, vinyl siding and anything with asbestos or lead we are good to go. They never call us back
Properly rehabbing the disc golf course (with 4 basket locations per tee) could be a boon for you. It could lead to hosting a tourney, even. I volunteered for over 1000 hours at the GG Park disc golf course a while back. Creating and maintaining something beautiful can generate a global draw. Offer good scaled challenges, something unique and of beauty. Dg community is huge and dedicated. Good luck.
If you’re going to demo any other buildings, contact fire departments in your area- in many cases, you can “donate” a structure to the FD who will burn it down for training purposes (they’ll put it out and relight it several times along the way, but in the end there won’t be much left).
Matt, Crocker Steel up here in Terrell, Texas could help when it comes time to build structures. I know they do great work; they build a lot of cathedrals around Tx currently. Just in case you were looking for construction companies local.
You should contact local fire departments and ask them about doing controlled burns, they will use them as training houses and then burn them down when they are done! great way to help out the community and it is awesome to see and the departments would love to do it!
We are so happy to hear you're working on the disc golf course!!! Once it is done we will definitely make the trip out from Utah to play it and see your awesome property :D
Mountain bike trails around the property would be incredible! Would love to come out and help in my free time if possible! Such a crazy cool property! Congrats Matt
Always thought yes get the rv/campers going for next year! Build a bath/shower house, doesn’t have to be fancy but will help having people coming to camp/rv or float river 😜
The reasons to have Diesel Dave bring his crew keep piling up !!!!! In fact he might have some equipment from that last purchase that he made that Matt might need to buy
Knowing Sparks, he would just loan or give Matt anything he needed free of charge. He’s very wealthy, so he would just be happy him and his crew as well as equipment are a part of an amazing project.
That well for the sheep/goats fill pond and other must have a large aquifer to be able to continually fill without running low. A family in Alabama had a well dug and they were told they had an aquifer the size of Texas. How cool is that. So much going on it's awesome.
It's unfortunate that you and Andrew Camarata are separated by 2000 miles. What epic videos we would have. Both crazy boys like playing with big stuff.
Just an fyi local fire departments are always looking for housing/structures to do training on. You could reach out to them if you have any other structures you’re taking down to see if they want to do training. In San Diego they’ll even do the clean up!

You are the only person I watch on TH-cam. You are doing great work and I encourage anyone reading this to buy a shirt like I did to help your efforts. Also consider a fund me page to see if others will buy in to your dream. You are the Max and you can tell that to Mare
Take care Coz
Well said mr coz
if anyone is wondering, i have leather honey stuff and know nothing about it but it is the best thing i have for my boots, dress shoes, work boots, and my jordan’s.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! We appreciate it and your business!!! -Shawn
I would love to see a collab with Dave Sparks, Diesel Dave and crew. I feel like you all would get along so well
If they don't already know each other through Cleetus McFarland, he definitely can give Matt Dave's number
I have definitely seen them talking on one of the Cletus videos.
Feel like a collab is already in the works, when he was talking about a building with seperate units he referenced 3families that could stay in the units as an example. He said “McFarlands Atwoods and Sparks” I assume he meant Dave and his family?
I got to see a total eclipse in middle Tennessee a couple of years ago, and it was EPIC!!! My wife made a huge day of it, we had a picnic at the park, got special glasses from the local optometrist, and I will never forget it... so worth seeing if you never have or seeing again!!! We attached the glasses to paper plates for the little ones to make sure they were protected. It was amazing!
I love Mikey's energy. He's the ultimate hype man!
Matt makes a video saying ''everything is going great! We have big plans!'' and ends with ''I need help.'' Its a great way to get people to care.
Awesome effort and attitude. This place is going to cost millions. Keeping the dream alive Matt, well done.
MATT, instead of hauling off all the cocreate ruble, use it for the Range brims base. 😉🤓
Great Comment!
When the disc golf course eventually gets set up you can host tournaments. The Desperado Open has a nice ring to it. Texas has a huge disc golf scene. There’s a Pro Tour event in Waco every year
I know it’s gonna be absolutely awesome when it’s finished Matt. Editing has been on point lately Matt ! Killer job .
Leather Honey is a great product, used it for years. Happy to see them as a sponsor!
Thank you for your comment and for your business! We appreciate you!!! -Shawn
Matt, I play disc golf all the time. Do not get rid of those trees because it makes it so much more challenging, and fun!
Matt should keep some of the old material and make a paintball field
Something for teens and us adults that think we're still teens.😅
The burnt stone building would be cool planted with vines as a "dinner amongst the ruins" theme. Like a castle ruins vibe.
Please tell Mere!
It may be too unstable. Fire seriously weakens even stone.
We need a “How much tannernite does it take to level a building” video!
Imagine the dramatic lighting.
The buildings burning ALL around you! YES!!!! Hahaha!@@jimmarshall5453
Those ruins are good food paint/air gun games
I dig seeing Matt get stoked about his vision for his resort…keep it going, brother👍🏼🇺🇸👊🏼
While the river is “dry” you should go dig out the section by the trailer and make it lower for better activities
Did I just see a disc golf basket? I’m definitely in. Let me know when the rest of the baskets are set up. I would love to be a course ambassador.
Agreed with horakrepair's comment. I run a fleet of maxxforce dt's. Get a computer on it to make sure you have fuel pressure, oil pressures and codes.
“Bus stuff” with a smirk and pause, died laughing. I don’t know how you do it Matt. 2 very successful channels and still hit us with the best montage edits out there. Unreal dude. Thank you!!!
3 channels
@@brandon1661wish he still showed up on vetranch every now and then
@@brandon1661 touché.
For the RV's coming please think about a potable water source along with a dump station for boondocking.
So cool to hear about the
Disc Golf Course !
April 2024 is not far away. I can't wait to see the resort really come together. Matt definitely has the motivation to get it done, but it's gonna take a lot of labor, contractors, and equipment. I wish you the very best success in the resort and all other ventures.
Don't see it all coming together in just eight months.
@@myitbos1335 wing and a prayer. Matt is an incredibly hard worker, I just hope he doesn't over work himself and get hurt or burn out.
They never call us back
Adding a disc golf course would be sweet. Definitely have my attention if you put that back in!
Considering it's a John Houck design.... yeah.
Always enjoy spending time with you at the ranch You're laying a good foundation....hugs
Your vision is amazing , love watching your ideas come to life at your resort. You are so passionate in all you do. You are AWESOME !
Matt, Crocker Steel up here in Terrell, Texas could help when it comes time to build structures. I know they do great work; they build a lot of cathedrals around Tx currently. Just in case you were looking for construction companies local.
Mikey always makes me laugh so hard. Dude is such a great addition.
You should contact local fire departments and ask them about doing controlled burns, they will use them as training houses and then burn them down when they are done! great way to help out the community and it is awesome to see and the departments would love to do it!
You should look into getting a grapple bucket for the skid steer and a thumb for the backhoe.
love your editing matt fr!! You can really tell how much work you put into the vids.
We are so happy to hear you're working on the disc golf course!!! Once it is done we will definitely make the trip out from Utah to play it and see your awesome property :D
It's a John Houck course, so should be epic when it's restored.
I came here looking for this info and y'all did NOT disappoint!! 😍
Hey get @HeavyDSparks and his team to help with the dump truck and everything else you need at the ranch it would be a great Collaboration video.
Reccomendation: for the river, you could have your customers enjoy tubing, etc if there's enough water.
Last time I was this early Matt was loading shot shells with Legos! 😂
The reasons to have Diesel Dave bring his crew keep piling up !!!!! In fact he might have some equipment from that last purchase that he made that Matt might need to buy
Wouldn't it be cool if they came down and donated some stuff to the cause
Knowing Sparks, he would just loan or give Matt anything he needed free of charge. He’s very wealthy, so he would just be happy him and his crew as well as equipment are a part of an amazing project.
Best sponsor yet! I love leather honey for my car's interior!
Thank you for the kind comment and for your business! We appreciate you!!! -Shawn
Matt , You should save that Electrical Service Panel on that building as it could be used again somewhere ! It looks fairly new and re-useable !
How does Matt not own a harpoon gun?
He should have called KB Scott...
He has the insane diving knife that injects air when ya stab into the shark.
These episodes just keeps getting better and better! Open my 2024? That´s seriously ambitious, but I believe in you
Exciting news and updates congrats!!
Disc Golf is a thing in Ohio too
Please be safe with all of the rain this week. I cant imagine how green/flooded that place would be after a good soak.
This will be awsome in 2024. Can't wait!! Thanks Matt!!
the person who edits this videos is truly talented🔥
🤝🙏
Exactly what I said!!!
Can't wait to visit the resort... thinking about volunteering
I know it’s gonna be absolutely awesome when it’s finished Matt🦋🎈
We use Leather Honey products on our horse saddles & bridles. Great stuff
Thank you so much for the kind comment and for your business! We appreciate you!!! -Shawn
A collaborative episode would be epic! At the end of it Andrew would have him outfitted with a container castle too. :)
❤❤❤well done Matt! Love the eclipse bookings idea!
Thanks Matt nice to see your vision for the place coming around. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌻
Just an fyi local fire departments are always looking for housing/structures to do training on. You could reach out to them if you have any other structures you’re taking down to see if they want to do training. In San Diego they’ll even do the clean up!
Use the old stone and brick for pile backstops for the gun range. you can cap it with dirt.
