I was like you, and needed that 12s. But..... my problem is trying to find one that appealed to the look I wanted. I will tell you now... if you are about the looks you are going to have a very different time finding an esc. I chose the ZTW 300 beast pro, because of the look. I hear many bad things about it, but I follow the specifics, stay in specs with motor, battery, and am having zero issues. I am running a TP power 5870 600kv, with a 20t pinion on my losi 5t baja hybrid. Smoking fast, and power for days! Just my 2cents 👍
When that ztw esc blows up you should just get a flyer 400a same price way better esc. 👍👍✌️

I have to agree. It really is an ugly esc. It’s to bad since they seem to be good unit.
Nice bash set up...good at the track...gravel pit...or favorite bash spot...
I got the same setup in my dbxle 2.0 800kv with no heat issues at all not even close.

Jason a fan brings motor Temps down on my castle 800kv xlx2 almost 17 degrees. Well that's what averaged across my tests.i live in FL Temps are 105 daily

I had one of those on my Kraton. The fans didn’t like jumping.
Hi Jason! It surprises me you only get 50mph with the XLX2 on the lighter 5ive-B. I get 48mph on my pretty heavy almost full aluminum 5ive with the Max5 combo on just 60% dual throttle rate and 19/58 gearing. See my video. Are you sure you got the full potential out of this 8S configuration?

Put silicone ear plugs in the center
I'm working my way up. I have never done the ear plugs in any of my cars yet. I usually stop at 20 million wt.
