I knew the feeling when we had hurricane Ian hit us we had to stay out on the road cause my hubby had a work vehicle and it was high profile so we chose to stay out I was of course super upset and not to mention we had my in-laws staying at our house cause they had to evacuate cause of the locations of their houses. I did not know the mess we were returning home to as well but luckily it was not as bad as I thought a blown fence and roof damage and damage to my lanai it’s the uncertainty the was scary but we were thankful to have people there at our house but we had to argue with my husbands job to get home to access our damage ourselves as well as start the recovery process which is taking forever to do so.
Oh my goodness I'm so sorry Jessica! So happy to hear the damages were only minimal. I've never lived somewhere with Hurricanes, but I can only imagine how scary that would be. Keeping you & your family in my thoughts!
