Great video Brother. I'm 66 now and found that as I've got older I've stopped turning the hips year on year. I thought the point you make about still seeing the trail shoulder was a brilliant checkpoint. I've watched back on a video I had in a recent lesson and what you demonstrated, trail shoulder visible, shoulders only turning 45deg was very apparent. One of the very best teachers on utube bud. You explain it in the way us amateurs can easily understand & relate to. Tks and best wishes, Russell, a Brit 🙂
I'm 70 years old. I agree with your video. Its hard to feel what is being taught on line. Take club straight back, don't turn your hips, take the club inside, etc. None feels natural. I Learned by trial and error to start the club back with quiet hips until you start to feel like the club wants to go up. I then just windup. I don't take the club straight back. I don't take the club to the inside. Just take the club back. Gives me good tempo, length in the backswing and no body sway. Works right out of the gate.
Really helpful video, will give the bungee a try - thanks. Also, what a lovely set up you’ve got there, great studio, alladin’s cave of equipment and great graphics! Can’t believe you’ve not got higher subscribers? Liked and subscribed ⛳️👍
Long time follower. Got it this is about turning hips properly. It appears your upper body is turning in unison, i.e. at the same time/speed with hip turn. Isn't there less torque build-up between upper & lower body as a result? Thank you!
