We have LoF A-J that we got secondhand on marketplace and my almost 7 year old and almost 4 year old girls LOOOOVE these books! We're near the end of Butterflies right now because we've been moving slowly through it while trying to navigate picking curriculum and also life lol. It's hard to have things so up in the air, but I'm glad you have seemed to settle into something SUSTAINABLE while meeting basic requirements. That's where we're at right now too, except we're doing less than your family so a BIG thumbs up to you and your hard working boys! Just a word of warning on LoF, I read online a comment from a homeschooling mother that said "one of the later books in the series" has a lesson that includes 666 and she was very displeased, as a Christian, that it was in the book. I tried to google it to find out which book it was and the context of it, but nothing showed up. Honestly its probably fine, but it might be helpful to know this beforehand. Seeing as you're having your boys read through the Bible, they will have already read about that so it shouldn't catch them off guard or be of any detriment. My family is Christian as well and I haven't decided yet if we'll skip that chapter if/when we come across it (as I don't know if its in a book before or after J), but if it doesn't seem harmful and it seems like it would benefit them then I might go ahead and read it - not sure. I'll pray right now and try my best to remember to continue praying for your husband's health! If there is more you would like prayers for, let me know and I'll add it to my mental list. 🤍

We’ve had to really prioritize what our homeschool and life priorities are. What are the bare basics…the core. God has been so good to reveal Himself to us in ways we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. ❤ have you checked Christian Light education ( CLE) curriculum they have a Godly math program and also L.A. and is not expensive ❤
