Oh thank you... It was sure nice seeing them .. I'll get to a box of pennies probably Sunday. Tomorrow a couple from church are having a Mexican meal potluck... I'm looking forward to that.
Isn't it ironic...5 years ago I went on eBay to look for a cent and nickel mat. And I found two from this seller named "Two Sheds." Five years into the future I found your TH-cam channel...😮
That's really cool... I started putting coin roll hunting videos up about 7 years ago or so, and about 5 years ago I designed the mats and put them on eBay. The ones already on eBay were certainly nice, but they cost more. I thought there would be people that would like a mat that isn't as expensive.. thank you for giving my mats a try, and welcome to my channel.
Most of the time I don't have really good luck with customer rolled, but I do often find what I think is odd customer rolled. Everybody does their coin hobby differently, that's for sure
If your bank appreciates that, then you are certainly being kind to them. The bank i order from most often has 1 requirement of me. Don't return anything you order... It's our agreement...
Love the stories . Sounds like quite a few of the inmates who you were with were doing the Thorazine Shuffle. I witnessed that myself having to spend some time nearby a nut hut. I have to give you credit for quitting smoking, cold turkey like you did. I haven’t been able to do that yet, I don’t think it’s going to send me to hell but it will smell like I’ve been there.
It's pretty amazing how it can turn these young violent men into lambs. Slow moving lambs. I emptied the tobacco out of a cigarette, and kept the filter in my mouth for about 3 days. Drove my friend I was hanging out with bonkers. But I did it, I quit. I've never gone back .. oh, should tell this . When ever I would meet somebody ( like a single girl) for probably 2 or 3 years I'd say... I would instinctively reach for my cigarettes Pocket. Seemed like it took forever before that quit being a reaction in me. If you desire to quit, I hope you can figure out how. Oh man, I can't imagine paying those prices... They've gotten so high, I think I'd smoke the little packs of cigars, that in reality is cigarettes, but cost way less. LoL yeah, after you quit for sometime the smell of ashtrays will almost make you sick ... Enough about that.... I hope to start on a penny box tomorrow or Sunday. Good hearing from you.
Yes, pretty good indeed.. the 2nd was fairly weird, but I did get 2, 2009s out of it.. but 2 more boxes with no 2024s... Not easy to come by around here.
@@michaelcavanaugh7353 he said he just picked up a box at the bank, and there they were. ( That's one reason why I purchased 4 boxes in the area while I was there..... No such luck . LoL)
I have about 15 bank branches that have them . ( Actually several of them are credit unions, check out your local credit union to see if they have a machine)
@dirkfrazier9779 that's basically what I do with half dollars. But anything smaller, I can do much quicker just taking them to the coin counter at the bank
Great video, thanks! Got my 6 boxes/ bags, going to stop getting them for a while. However 3 silver 40% halves 67,68d,69. Some junk in the bags, 3 car wash tokens, 2 flagship car wash coins, 2008 challenger half, 10 pence coin, 2 pound coin, lastly 50 pence coin. How did those tokens get in there. Tim
I picked up 4 boxes today and went through 2 of them. Found 3 2024’s 2 2009’s. 1 1945 P. And a few 30 -50’s. I also found my 1st Buffalo nickel that I can read clearly. 1935. Of course the 1935 is the largest minted year for buffalo’s but it’s still nice to find. One of the 2009’s looks like a lawnmower ran over it. Haha 2 more boxes to go through over the weekend. Nice to see you doing well on the war nickels
You did really well with those. Cool beans... I hope your next 2 are just as good. Congratulations on your first dated buffalo... I was quite surprised to find 3 of the 2009s for sure... I better roll over and go back to sleep. Cheers
TSG, are you old enough to remember in the 70's that 1964 nickels were so common that they were always popping up in change. I remember one co - worker made the statement that he didn't think they would ever be worth anything.
Oh yes.... Even when I started back coin roll hunting on occasion back in the 80s or 90s, I made the comment several times. I think I get 64s in every roll...
I just finished a box tonight had 18 pre 1960-- 3 buffalo --2 war-1 Canada -1 2009 & no 2024 this time. Great watching your videos
Thank you.. you had a really good box there
Some good boxes! Congrats on the War Nickels!

Readable 1936 D, 2012 Wddr-002, and a 1964 D/D west RPM, 20 roll search! I've never gotten rolls like those 68-70s you got.

Nice hunt thank you so very much for sharing hope you and your family have a wonderful new year 👍👍❤️
Thank you, I appreciate it. Happy New Year to you and yours
I'm to kind hearted.🤣 I re-roll my cent and nickel rolls. I buy a few extra rolls to replace all of the coins that I keep.👍😃💰

@ I’m going to get a box of nickels tomorrow if our bank has any
Nice to see you get all the 2009’s. Did you pick up the box of 2024’s
I did... I'm hoping to sell some on ebay
@ Cool. Did the guy reveal how he got them? Probably not. That would be just totally awesome to buy a box and find all 2024.

Do you have to reroll all of them .
Oh no, I don't re-roll anything except half dollars. I take everything else to banks that have coin counting machines.
@@TwoshedsGabbyour Banks don’t have those machines anymore, we have to roll them.
I have about 15 bank branches that have them . ( Actually several of them are credit unions, check out your local credit union to see if they have a machine)
I open an end, dump them out, and refill with the correct amount. At the end, I know how many I retired from circulation!
