Great video again Martin and appreciate all the effort you go to when filming / taking photos for us to admire and enjoy. You mentioned in your recent post it was v hard to do the video and photos, I wonder if a voiceover post service / repair might make the process less of a hassle rather than narration as you go? Thanks again, Andrew.
Taking photos is no problem at all - it does not interfere with my ability to work on the watch but it does carry with it some risk associated with transport of parts from bench to light box. The video however all has to happen in the light box where access is impeded and vision obscured and it is under these conditions that the business of working on the movement becomes so much more difficult. As for voiceover, I actually find it easier to talk off the cuff while I am working than to add narration after the fact. The latter always sounds wooden and stilted to my ears.
Hey man nice restoration you got there! Just wondering is there any chance I can buy that broken center chronograph wheel from you? I've had a little incident with the tip of my center chronograph wheel while installing that damn second hand 😅
Very nice work, Martin.
Thanks!
Nicely done!
Thank you!
Beautiful watch and a great job bringing it back to it's former glory. Cheers.
Thank you!
Beautiful watch and amazing result of your work!
Many thanks!
Great restoration.
I love that watch, it is my date of birth.
Greetings from Mexico. 👍
I'm glad you liked it. Greetings from York!
Lovely!
Thanks!

Nice one, I like it too much. Did you change the sweep hand with new one after replacing the chronograph wheel?

I’m a little surprised it isn’t more different from a traditional movement.
