It's Honestly kinda embarrassing to admit but I slam them sometimes playing games, and this mouse's durability is astonishing. I have no idea how it is not broken. Thought it finally fizzled out on me but nope. The power connector was just loose inside. I even got a loose plastic piece out and it stopped rattling.

To anyone trying this though, when you remove the cover of the switch, there should be an ident that looks something like |¯¯V¯¯| which is the shape of the bottom part of the cover itself, it shouldn't take to much force to remove. I was prying from further bellow and almost broke the entire switch off the board lol

no there is no red light. maybe you are talking about the optical laser light? but this video is just to clean the copper thing inside the mouse switch.
The switch is already inside the mouse. There are switches that you can buy online it should have a name on the side of the switch. But on this video it's just re-using the same mouse switch not replacing it.

Razer is going to shitty quality. I already had 3 razers, not a gamer but i love the ergonomics BUT all of them had problems after 3-4 years. Scroll works bad jumps up when i scroll down, i click once and it registers 2 clics, scroll click had to do a lot of pressure to accept it, right click also a lot of pressure etc Tired of this, changing to Steelseries or Logitech etc

Glad it worked'. this happens most of the time with logitech gaming mouse, I just used the same method for this razer mouse.

Not sure what issue is a jumping mouse wheel. Try to re-assemble the mouse.
with this issue i just blew really hard on my scroll wheel and it fixed perfectly fine, im pretty sure the issue is just a build up of dust

Remove the tape after the click is working fine then add the case once the tape is removed.

that tiny thing will fly out if you don't tape it. The tape is optional but make sure your workspace is lighted well in case parts fall off somewhere.

No cannot change the switch. But the copper inside you can swap from left and right click switches.

razer is a trash n overhyped brand. had no problem in logitech for 4 years but razer broke down in 4 months. waste of money.
