From what I know, the parents of the monster mom did not know she went on vacation, and one of her neighbors said I. A TIKTOK that she had taken care of that baby before, and she said it was for a week. The mother did not show up until a month later. So, she had done that before. 😢

So many people fail this poor little baby. Her mother failed her, her family failed her and the neighbors failed her. I’m sure her neighbors heard this baby crying for hours. No one checked or call the police. I heard neighbors being interviewed on another video where they state the mother left the baby alone often. Why didn’t those neighbors report her to child services? I can’t understand.

Correct. When I heard a baby crying in my building, for what seemed like a few hours, I actually went and knocked on the door. I was prepared to call the police as well but the mom was able to calm the baby down. Its absolutely insane to hear a baby crying FOR DAYS and not get suspicious.

I have a 14 month old and I feel like I’m going through some anxiety & depression, but at ANY moment have I thought of hurting my baby girl under ANY circumstances, as a matter of fact I feel even MORE overprotective of her because I want the absolute best for her. Which is why i seek therapy. This “person” if I can even call her that is pure evil in flesh.

I can tell you what it's like to suffer from dehydration and not eating. I don't know this baby but as a nurse. I know exactly what this little one suffered. I don't know this baby, but my heart goes out to that little angel. I am so full of hurt knowing that another woman. Able to bear children can do that to their own children and then turned around and claimed I was de press half. My body was numb. They gave me depacaine. I did not understand the instruction but can go on vacation for a 10 days and now return for 12 days. And you want me to believe that she was too de.Press.Ed, who the hell do you think you are kidding?Not all of us are a stupid low as her family.Not all of us are buying what you're selling.Sir.I know that you are doing your job as your lawyer.But even you should have principle and this is not a dependable case

No one wants to defend anyone who murdered a baby especially the way she did. Sadly someone had to do it. Not bc the wanted to, but bc someone has to give her a fair trail if it was requested. Lawyers are ALL friends, don't ever think they're not, most are. Many went to school together and alot of the time it's like a secret game of who can win. So no surprise that they shook hands. Probably had lunch together afterwards. Don't forget they all get paid regardless by the state. Everyone is happy to put this evil monster behind bars.

Unfortunately the baby safe haven laws only protect newborns not older children. You can be prosecuted for abandonment if you do this with a child of any other age. Honestly we need new laws for people to be able to surrender a child of ANY age safely and offer them mental health help for reunification if that’s what they want… and if they never want to see their child again, so be it!

If the mother was so incapable of caring for the child that the grandparents had to check on her every day, then the mother had no business having that child in her care. Social services should have taken the child away, if the grandparents had to look in every day on the child. Obviously the system wasn't aware of the problem or had the problem downplayed by the mother, so the child was allowed to remain in the custody of the mother. It was up to the mother to let SS know that she wasn't capable of taking responsibility , and had her child put into foster care or adopted by family.

This broke my heart to hear. I can't believe that she tried to use anxiety and depression for her defense, I have suffered from these since I was a teenager, and I have never left my child alone. Her fellow inmates won't exactly be befriending her. Wouldn't be surprised if they consistently took her food from her. Even the most hardened take offense at starving a child.
Those women will handle her trust me. My mother went to prison for 8 years in my childhood. And not a day went by where she didn’t cry about us or write us. Most of those women locked up with her will be mothers themselves who would give a limb to see their kids again. They have no heart for those who hurt children especially mothers who hurt their own children. I’m guessing they will keep her alive, wishing she wasn’t. Until they put her in solitary that is.

Notice how they pan to the defendant right after hearing the Ring cam of her baby crying as she’s dying, and she has not ONE tear. Not just that, but a look of disdain. I work with MANY Spanish speaking people. They prefer to speak their language. At my work, English class is offered if they choose. I think it should be MANDITORY
What did she think was going to happen? The baby would just be sitting there waiting all clean,healthy and well and fill up on 2 bottles after 10 days! I feel guilty about leaving my cat when I go away and constantly worry if his feeder will malfunction.,depression and anxiety dosent drive someone to kill a baby,I wish the neighbours could have heard her cries,the grandparents-have mercy? Such a terrible reprobate of a human. Life without the possibility of parole is a just sentence for her. She didn't shed a tear listening to the desperate cries of her dying child on audio but she cried when she heard her own voice calling 911. She won't ever be going home like she thought.

The parents impact statement has ZERO IMPACT! Pathetic. They ask for compassion. GTFOH. Where was the compassion for the baby with nobody to speak for her except strangers. Strangers that never got to love her like they clearly did not. Worried about their daughter that was more concerned about feeding her own needs while that beautiful baby starved, ALONE. The defense attorney seems like he wants to cry. That tells us how horrible this woman's actions were.
I never say this but I feel sorry for her attorney. Just the horror of the pictures, her explanation, the autopsy has to leave images that would be hard to forget. I hope she goes to jail for a long time.

I will say that I feel like her defense attorney did the best he could with what he had to do. I think he was as respectful as possible while advocating for his client.

I've watched TONS, and I mean TONS of true crime videos on TH-cam. Horrific ones, incredibly sadistic ones, and truly sad ones. Including every single available video of the Chris Watts footage in it's entirety. When they played the Ring video of that innocent baby crying I genuinely teared up. First time I've EVER cried while watching anything crime related on TH-cam. This is legitimately horrific. I'm genuinely offended that the death penalty wasn't on the table in this case smh.
