Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

What a wonderful, marvelous sermon. Oh dear Lord, our most merciful Father, if only we were to have many Spurgeons in out lost forsaken world today, then perhaps people would listen and turn to you for the forgiveness of their sins and be saved. It is my fervent prayer today, oh Lord, that you would raise up your people and give them voice so that your kingdom would surely come soon. In Jesus mighty and matchless name I pray. Amen.
I can truly say Ask And Ye Shall Receive is truly true! I had been contemplating about something my daughter had said to me " You should just ask the dealership to donate you a car" After much thought, then I listened to a sermon from Charles Spurgeon on just how to ask GOD for things, He said very slowly " If CHRIST is in you, and you are in CHRIST" over and over Mr. Spurgeon was preaching out of Matthew 7:7;8. Well I want to tell you I got that car, 2008 Nissan Altima for Free! I'm so thankfull for so many things, I'm thankfull just to share this message.

just started reading a book on him Charles. He received Christ at the age of 15 and started preaching at the age of 16. You would not see that today. Sadly today, society thinks you have to go to school and be educated by man first. Great message!

Telling God what to give is not a prayer. Why he has to give you something? Is he your slave? Prayer supposed to be listening to God's order. No matter how long it takes. Just be patient and listen until fall asleep or get exhausted. What would you say if president of USA is right in front of you? then you will be frozen by panic unless you get fainted. Do you know God is much more greater than president of USA? you should stay silent two hours at least to say a word if he is really there and listening whatever you say. Aren't you people treating God like shit? Who's the boss?
