What's this new place? ViBe Creative District| Virginia Beach| 2019

ViBe Creative District is creative inspirational ocean front neighborhood with lots of Instagram worthy mural spots. When you visiting to Virginia Beach and in the area, please check it out. Before you go, here’s a few of things you need to know.

Plan Ahead: Since most of the murals are only accessible thru walking check their virtual map before you go to see which murals you are interested to cover all murals you want to watch with one take...

Car Parking
Parking is very limited there. Most of the Murals are on walls of private places and businesses. So “No Parking allow”. We've seen that towing enforcement in strictly in action as well. Therefore, park somewhere safe you know that you won’t be towed before exploring the district. Following is the location of parking we parked 21St Municipal Parking Lot. It was $10/hr and $15 for 2hrs when we parked.
21st Street Municipal Parking Lot: 303 20th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
19th Street Municipal Parking Lot: 300 19th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 (This is beside the lot we parked)
Wear Comfortably "Especially Shoes"
All Murals are in walking distance but some of the good ones are not that close to each other. Since this area is developing in progress constructions are everywhere and not a lot of eye candy shops are added yet. So, it felt like a real walk under scorching sun rather than felt like strolling thru little small town with ice cream cone in the hand. I'm pretty sure that will change later once developments are completed though.
Go with group and don't stay too late.
Since it's developing area, you don't see a lot of people strolling around. That's made me a little paranoid for my visit. But I saw polices are patrolling around though. So, maybe I'm just being paranoid as usual :)
New Murals are added regularly
They're adding new murals regularly which make this place amazing cause you'll see new murals that you haven't seen before when you visit next time.

Most of Mural Artists participate in "ViBe" project are amazing and some of them even go beyond!!! When this area is more developed with small beach town atmosphere, I will definitely be going back there again!!! (I believe they will get there in no time!)
