Let me preface: this is sincere, and a really adore all your content. TH-cam probably thinks me to be a bot. I have watched this 3 or 4 times, but have not made it through the first 30 mins without falling asleep. Not to mention the countless of other long videos that I have "watched", but not seen through. You truly are a godsend for my insomnia, AA. Your voice is so soothing and the longforms are especially soothing. 😌 I appreciate you!
I live in South Africa and we have indigenous Fynbos, only place in the world that has Fynbos. It's an Afrikaans word that literally means "fine bush" but colloquially it means "little-plants". I guess fheeen-booos is also OK. :) And yes they reproduce via natural forest fires.
It isn't only the nutrients that makes ash so fertile its also extremely puros so it has an incredible amount of surface area in and on which bacteria can thrive. strictly speaking it takes years for fresh ash to become extremely fertile, but it's a game so. I don't know if it is worth saying but putting ash straight onto soil wont increase its fertility for quite a while and its not recommended better to soak the ash, keep it wet and leave it over a year or so.
It's a great concept. But it's over in just a few hours and there's a very limited amount of content that you can replay. I was very disappointed to see that there are just 4 maps. I played the free version years ago and that one also just had 4 maps. So, they spent extra time and ask for $25 for a rebalanced and visually upgraded version of the... same thing they gave away for free a few years ago.
Not only game commentary is needed for you to showcase a game like this. Hearing you tell stories in your beautiful voice while playing this in the background is all it takes to get me to watch an entire vod multiple times.

Natural ash is actually good for the environment. In fact forest fires are actually a necessary part of the cycle for some of the larger forests. Human intervention on the side of stopping forest fires actually is a large part of why they keep getting worse. We're just letting the fuel build up.
The last part is not really true. Natural forest fires are only tried to be "cheeked" so they do not overspread to residential areas. However, most forest fires nowadays are manmade and thus tried to be put out, as they cause more harm than good.
Science time lol Some background & a generalized explanation 😊 The reason most gardens fail is because ppl only do 1 out of 4 steps for plant growth. They usually only look for sunny spots, but you also need specific minerals/nutrients, certain soil type (for irrigation purposes), & appropriate water pH. Being very basic..... ash, well wood ash specifically, contains many key minerals plants need (like potassium, calcium, carbon, nitrogen, etc). But ash & minerals overall should not be given to plants constantly, or the overabundance kills them (plants can't survive gluttony lol). Fireplace ash can be thrown in gardens or lawns & temp firepits can be buried after use.
AA's question: why isn't the whole world poop? Answer: the surface of the world is poop. It decomposes with minerals and decaying plant matter to form soil. Dirt is poop. Earth means dirt. Therefore 💩💩🌎
AA needs to clip all of his responses to placing structures in the first part of this and make them the alert sounds that play when he gets subscriptions, donations, and raids. He'd make a fortune!

It's not really stupid. A good example of this is the electric car. Although electric cars don't add carbon to the atmosphere when they operate (unless the energy comes from coal), they do add carbon to the atmosphere when they are being made. Also, battery parts are made from relatively rare metals that need to be mined which also destroys the environment. Still, electric cars are a more efficient use of carbon than gasoline cars so they are still more environmentally friendly, just not nearly as much as they appear to be.
