Fun Fact: This guy was the vocalist of Candlemass directly after Messiah Macrolin left in 1991. Did he or did he not do vocals on Yngwie’s covers album “inspirations” as well? As for Yngwie I know four (perhaps more) of his songs have backing tracks on here: “You don’t remember, I’ll never forget” and “Fury” from Trilogy, and “Rising Force” and “Heaven tonight” from Odyssey.
He didn’t come into the picture until 1997 and Inspirations was 1996, so no he wasn’t on it. Ha ha ha....I can’t sing the Yngwie stuff....yet....I’ll keep practicing👍
@@80sglammetalcast Have you done an episode with Dave Meniketti (Y&T) yet? I forget, but you already might’ve. Would be cool if you could land one with any of W.A.S.P.’s “The last command” lineup. I’ve heard interviews with them on a different channel, and Steve, Randy & Chris kept it clean for the interview… I was surprised Chris didn’t cuss Blackie out at any point … since lately those two have been at each other’s throats a fair bit.
@@dragonqueen6589 don’t know much about Y & T...would be a tough one for me. Yes, I would like to talk to all those dudes from “The Last Command”. Now that’s some stuff I can sing😂
listening to this puts in perspective so much the following albums that had TERRIBLE productions. Yngwie probably ran out of money and had to make dues, and the results show. i had hoped for when Tim ripper Owens joined the band for perpetual flame but even that train fell off the rails. nowadays, at least for me, yngwie is completely unlistenable.
Wish Yngwie would go back to production and good songs what he's been doing the last 10 yrs as a fan since day 1 sorry nobody can tell me it's good!! Horrible production and the singing nope!!
I have a feeling he will go back. He is trying the solo singing thing but he will get tired of it at some point. He changes things up every two or three albums.
@@JoseFuentes-fn3dl sorry to bust your bubble, but his manager will not ever split any of the money with real musicians who require it to work. Trust me. I'm a bass player.....lol
His albums and live shows suffer, he’s just not as good as he was, I just don’t bother anymore, whereas in the past my world stopped when there was a new cd and tour on the horizon.
Yngwie's last great album. Truly a masterpiece from start to finish. Shame it was short lived.
The awesome Mats Levèn!!! Also was singer for Swedish Erotica and Treat.....amongst other bands
Definitely kicks ass in all the projects he’s done🤘
@@80sglammetalcast Absolutely!! Great guy as well.
@@badhabitz69 for sure! I enjoyed speaking with him. Cool accent too...reminded me of Dolph Lundgren
This is definitely a great album for Yngwie, a lot of great songs on this album.
I agree! Great tunes, performances, and production.

Mats is a very wise and diplomatic guy. You can infer from what he was saying, if you have half a brain what the real deal is....
Forgotten album😢

Me too🤘Miss those great songs with those incredible singers!

Yeah, he shouldn’t be singing.

Great album, horrible album cover. Also, Yngwie would say he wrote and recorded all guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals.
Horrific album cover😂😂😂
Why? Yngwie look like Johnny depp
