- If you want to solo in any key all across your fretboard with your eyes closed, taking the music from your head and feeling it in your fingers grab a copy of our FREE guitar solo cheatsheet here now: www.guitarmast...
So you’re an aspiring lead guitarist…
Your audience might love your pentatonic guitar solos, but us guitarists know you’ve rehearsed that “improvised” pentatonic-scale solo a thousand times.
You now have 4 guitar scales that I find myself using for almost every solo. In fact, you’ve probably seen me use these a dozen times before.

These are no harder to play than your trusty pentatonic scale pattern - in fact, some of them are just 1 or 2 notes different. Which means they’re perfect for any beginner or intermediate lead guitarist who’s needing a bit more spice with their guitar playing.
I’ve heard from thousands of guitar players who swear they’ve tried every possible variation of notes on their fretboard… yet they still suck.
And guess what…
They’re also the exact same guitar players who have used nothing other than the pentatonic guitar scale since they first picked up guitar all those years ago.
And after giving my students just 1 extra guitar scale pattern to use in their guitar playing, their solos are instantly sounding incredible, and there’s definitely no lack of creativity.
Pair these 4 basic scale patterns with your free Fretboard Conveyor Belt cheat sheet, and watch your fretboard finally come to life.

Fastest 22 minutes of my life. I thoroughly enjoyed learning.
Eddie You are the Greatest Instructor I learn The previous SRV solos
I love how you apply full body stretch techniques to the hands! Ofc stretching routines over time would increase RoM, idk why i never thought of this. Thank you for helping this new bass player!
Tomorrow morning I'm going to start working on these scales and my vocabulary is going to explode,,, I just can't thank you enough...🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
you really made what used to be some confusing concepts about which scale to use to create a mood... thanks.
Nice lesson Eddie
A complete Poewer-Lesson! Great to see three scales put in one lesson that is not confusing but you actually showed the simplicity. Thanks Eddie!!!
Infinite ways to play a scale is an Exceligent approach!
Thank you this video helped me,I have never thought this way.Being a bass player for 45 years this lesson really opened my mind and ears
THANK YOU
Thank you Mate ı have tried that for four hours and it works perfectly my wife said to me it was one of the most Best musics recently, I improvised and backing track thats all ı did, you are my favorite guitarist ever 🎉😊
Eddie, you NEVER cease to Amaze, Educate, and Motivate. You make your own perfect triad (A-E-M). Love you like a brother! Thanks for everything you do. You're the best!!! -GC
You Kidding or are Braindead ???? A-E-M truly is a perfect triad. But I could not find the M yet!
@@mikelkohlhaas5358Amaze Educate Motivatesl
A E M...not a real triad obviously, but he was just stating how great the guitar teacher is and deserves his own triad...anyways i dont know why i responded to your comment but i did. So hope this clarifies your confuson and keep watching
Haven't touched my guitar for almost 3 years now. The story could even make even me cry on why, and I lived it. Anyway... de todos modos... I stumbled upon this and watched your lesson. I'm gonna be back. I feel it. 71 years young with knowledge of blues pentatonic scales and chord formations, some basic strummed songs, but you put the fire under me to pick it up again and go further. First love is the Blues, but I also know some Spanish and French ballads. Subscribed and hit the bell. Gracias por tu lección. R.T.West. Puebla, México...
I got something good from this lesson. Well presented!
Im So glad that this video popped up in my recommended. love from philippines
Man. I have been playing for years and naturally figured a lot of this stuff. I stopped playing because of hitting creative block. Since watching your lessons, I have gained so much understanding and new love. Thanks bro!!
Just wanted to say thank you for all the help and tips. I will be referring back to this lesson for some time. I'm a slow learner so leave this lesson up for like FOREVER!!! Thank you Eddie.
love ya work Eddie cheers man
This is what I have been looking for something simple, something that doesn't get you bored, but very eager to learn. It's amazing how these scales changes the sound. And you don't have to go to far on frets, and if you do have one frets that may be a little to far to reach, there's another frets that still sounds good, but closer to reach. I like that part, only because I have a problem stretching my fingers a long way. This will help till I get my fingers stronger. Overall I'm very impressed and looking forward to finally making some music 🎶.
Another wow moment with you Eddie. You helped me understand how to use modes, in this lesson, in a way no one else could. Thank you
Yes I understand it but still not sure I can do it yet but do understand the importance. :)
This is such a helpful video. I’ve watched hundreds of guitar videos if not thousands but this one has distilled the MOST important aspects needed to spark your creativity and explain what is needed to make tasty lead guitar lines. Thank you!
Holy!! I become santana in one lesson. This is gold!
Youre amazing men, thanks for this lesson hope you have an amazing life ❤

You are the master Eddie you make it sound oh so good with that backing track it is a song thank you
Thank you Eddie, awesome lesson!
My pleasure!
I love this technique. For years I have been trying to understand how to solo over a scale such as in the a minor Pentatonic as you demonstrate here for example. This is a great way to play some simple solos before learning to do this running down the whole fretboard. . In the beginning Keep It Simple. Good Stuff
Excellent video, i can actually now navigste through every name of the scales and know exactly where I am, very helpful after being self taught . Perfecto !!!
Awesome info packed and practical vid. Yes, knowing the chord tone intervals helps alot, when playing lead. Demonstrating the diff scale sounds was superb. .
Man, this very straight forward video. Keep em coming. Your the best.
Great teacher. 🍎
Thank you! Cheers!

New sub here! Enjoyed this lesson. This will help me break out of my rut 💪
More gold from Eddie!
Eddie, wow I should have started learning this when I was 6 and not 62. Any suggestions for what scale to play for Christian music .
Gmm member , always love Eddies tips, seek him out on you tube. Go Eddie
Aolian gives it a James bond feel
Amazing, helpful ❤
I’d like this to go more in-depth about adjusting scales to play over chord changes. For example, if you keep playing A Dorian over the 4,5 & 6 chords, you’re going to get some pretty bad dissonance at some point I would imagine.
Great lesson mixing theory and practical application of the theory.
great video...thanks it really did help
That was nice . Thanks!🤘🎸👍
Absolutely great lessons. Thank you!
Thank you Eddie . Avoided a wall
Great video lesson!! By the way...not receiving the Cheat Sheet and its not in spam or other folder! Thank you.
That sounds good 🤘🎸🤠
This was awsome .
The harmonic minor scale, is that the same as mixolydian mode?
wow man im not afraid no more from scales.
