I had the same issue but it was a fault on the -15v line. Tracked it back to the dodgy loose pad on the mains input board. The grey wire from the secondary of the traffo was hanging on, beefed it up with a mod wire and buzzing is gone.
Hi great video. I have an Azur 651R, I with no standby LED. Fuse is no longer blowing after changing the burnt choke coil and bridge rectifier. Where should I start searching to get a standby LED next?
Is it really true that CA currently is using low quality capacitors in their current units ? I heard this several times - the same for NAD, Musical Fidelity etc.

Greetings I have the same model of amplifier and two problems. First is like yours with power button and the second major problem is with left speaker output. When amp is turned on and song is playing there is no sound on left speaker or sometimes rarely sound comes in spikes. But after some time playing songs left channel starts to running normally. Do you know what could be a problem?
@AllAduiFixup mam ten sam wzmacniacz, problemem jest występujące buczenie głośników, niezależnie od wybranego wejścia i poziomu głośności. Na słuchawkach i preout taki efekt nie występuje. Na wyjściu nie ma DC. Wymieniłem wszystkie elektrolity poza niektórymi bipolarnymi. Nic to nie pomogło. Tranzystory mocy sprawdzone i są ok. Pozostaje chyba tylko jakiś problem z masą lub uszkodzenie jakiegoś tranzystora sterującego. Jakieś sugestie?

Great work. I have one. The volume pot was a bit crackly but as I've used it, it seems to have fixed itself. Bit of dust probs. Lovely amp.

3:43 is that the toroid power supply on the left ? It looks small but why is it power hungry with power consumption 600 watt.

Thanlks i think you need to check if its any dc voltage on output if ots go to protect mote but you need to check at output resistors
