She looks like hero which is quite self sufficient. Mana regeneration with some boost to dmg cast makes her somewhat hassle free at the beginning and you can safe some move points to get around with slow army. Later on you can pick like magic skills so fighting ones. But her primary skills let you choose to which side you want bend her. If you decide to make her more of a caster you ignore buildings on map of adventure which increase attack and defense to speed up progress towards caster and opposite with fighting primary skills if you want those you can go for those primarily and ignore magic ones become she make for your lack of development in those by her self. She gives that way a lot of freedom and do not force you to go out of the way just because if you do not pick let say knowledge somewhere you will be lacking or if you concentrate on magic then you will be weak fighter because she will make some attack and defense during leveling. Very interesting hero and haste is great addition as always.
@@herohustle3 make josephine being able to upgrade golems to third level :D nah i think it will broke. but golems defense(10) lower than sea dogs(11) makes no sense. again hota crew favoring their own towns.
It's my goto starter hero for tower on standard, default and Jebus maps. Stronger and faster golems in greater numbers guarding the gremlins, plus haste make her super capable early on. Not a goto main hero, though, as I typically try to replace her if a better main pops up in tavern in first several turns.
@@herohustle3 don't think so, I'm in a weird place where I'm trying to learn the details of playing fast and efficient JC, duel and similar popular templates played in HotA lobby. My advice, in case you want one at all :) would be to try it out yourself, it really opens a new perspective on the game. However, it requires something that I think is a good thing I did, but you might not like it :) It's to forever stop playing slow, default random map as it really slows you down in learning and figuring out the game and getting better at it. At least that's my experience. Best I can do for Josephine is to start games with her and occasionally main her if I don't get Tazar or something :)
@@millancche I totally respect the grind you're doing to master JC and duel-focused templates-those games really sharpen your skills in efficiency and fast decision-making, I guess. But I think that’s where the big difference lies: JC rewards speed and calculated aggression, while slower, long-term random maps test a whole different set of skills, like resource management over time and adapting to unpredictable situations. Someone who’s a pro at JC might absolutely dominate in those fast-paced games but could struggle in a drawn-out match where you have to plan for weeks ahead and deal with chaotic map setups. Both styles have their challenges, and that’s what makes Heroes 3 so unique-it caters to all kinds of playstyles! Also, props to you for experimenting with Josephine. Tower heroes can be tricky to optimize, so it's cool to hear how you use her strengths early on. Good luck with your JC practice-I’d love to hear how it all translates if you ever go back to slower maps!
@@herohustle3 and all the respect to you for enjoying default random then, it's really just a personal, subjective preference of mine that I started to get a bit bored by it, you should enjoy the game the way you feel is the best. The main objective problem of default random map is that it can almost never give you a balanced match between the two human players - 9/10 times the RNG will determine the winner weeks or even months before the heroes even meet. As for Josephine, she feels like a very capable duelist, Haste and Mysticism are even more influential in duel than in standard multi-hero maps.
That's a royal conversation! Much appreciated. I used to agree with the 9/10 rating for the previous version I played. However, since I started playing HOTA, I would rate it a 1/10. I've mentioned multiple times in the channel that I only play PvP with my brother, and we have played thousands of games together. Nowadays, the random template is much more balanced. We've experienced so many different scenarios that I honestly can't give up on this game. I am happy to have you here, bro!
You are right about not wanting to play broken heroes, for example Crag Hack lvl 20 hitting for +60% dmg is just nuts to me. And apparently there are people who think this is okay, or Giselle or Tazar. Like come on, hota team, fix that shit.
Thank you for sharing this and highlighting some unresolved issues. By the way, when you mentioned Giselle, did you mean Mephala? That’s what I thought when I saw her name next to Tazar and noticed how she seemed to be overpowering in some way. No matter what, Giselle (with a specialty of +350 gold) is an amazing hero! I would rather play her over most of the other Rampart heroes. When it comes to Offense and Armoer specialized heroes, Neela is arguably the most "overpowered" of them all. She seems almost invincible. However, there is a way to defeat these types of heroes. For example, Armorer specialized heroes can be easily taken down with spells. Keep in mind that the Armorer only reduces physical damage dealt to the hero's troops in melee or ranged combat. ;) How can you overcome Crag Hack and other Offense Expert heroes? In my experience, they are easier to defeat compared to the Armory heroes. You can defeat them both physically and magically. But hey, you must have a sufficient number of units to absorb the damage dealt while you are punishing. Hopefully, I will post a related game soon. Please share your thoughts on the above.
@@novasoul99 I am so sorry, I made a mistake. Yes, I agree. She is indeed a nightmare. I played 2 full games with her. I won both of them :D. However, she lacks knowledge and power points in my experience. She is not a reliable caster, though.
In my mind she remains to be a garbage hero with +1 mana regen and +5% damage magic arrow. HOTA did make those skills so much better now, yet she is still no main potential.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. This is the focus of those videos. Could you please provide more details? Specifically, have you played her long-term, and in what ways did she fail? I would love to hear about any stories of failure, as it would help us all better understand her weaknesses.

Indeed. She is one of the best hybrids in the game. Have you played with her recently? If not, you better do it faster :D It is a real fun.
you wrote poetry, looks like you are in love with Josephine :D

lovely golems, they need even more love from hota developers
For example? What more?

I must agree with you on the sea dogs/golems' defense comparison. But upgrading the golems to third level...WHOA, that will brake the game 4 sure.

@herohustle3 Giselle is the Interference specialist of Rampart. When you fight her at a certain level you have almost zero spell power.
