Adam insisted we ditch the tent as motivation to get to the finish, so we didn't have anything to camp with anymore. They can be kick-started yes, which we had to do on more than a few occasions, but the alternator needs to still be attached, it's all connected. We tried connecting it back on with cable ties whilst we still had it, but couldn't get it to work, the screws all rattled loose somewhere on the road unfortunately.
Why can't you just camp out in the jungle? Also I thought those kind of bikes could run without functioning electrics, being kick start and carbed.
