On the losing friends when you get married, I look at it as people are in your life for a season. They may be a short brief season of life that they are with you, or they may be lifelong friends. But the ebb and flow of friendship allows for growth and revisiting how that friend plays their role in your life as you get older. I lost several friends when I got married in high school the first time, not because they got married but because I made a choice to marry somebody I really didn't know very well.
