Thank you, Slippy, for the very kind and generous words🙏🏻 Glad the stickers made it to you. Well done SOG for supporting, Slippy. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 2K is so close my friend. You deserve all the success you’ve achieved thus far and so much more! Love both of these… especially that modified sheepsfoot. Reminds me of my CRKT Pilar or Kizer Mini Sheepdog. I’m definitely going to have to grab both of these! Good stuff as always, mate👊🏻
Love a forward finger choil on a slipjoint/double detent, just a little bit more peace of mind that you won’t somehow close it on yourself. Interesting knives, thanks for sharing 🫡
Seems like an alternative to the CRKT Pilar. I use the HH double detent version - useful knife. Fans of fat blades won't like the MKM edge for approx the same cost :( Thanks for the review/promo 👍
Well designed with that choil for finger safety. Personally I'd prefer a strong back spring as I think double detent is the answer to question nobody asked. Nice couple of knives though. Cheers 🍻
On the S.O.G. fixed blade knife their sheath is NOT very impressive. I’m going to buy the clip point scout rather than the cleaver because I do agree it’s the better choice. If I buy the cleaver I’ll use it like a warnclife blade any how. I watched your show today, really enjoyed it.
Power issues knocked out the net provider until later today Slippy. So probably not going to be able to do the reviews I'd planned. Speak later once things are restored.
I'm sure they'll both be perfectly useful working knives and lots of people will like them, but... . When I look at them I just think ' meh '. It's not because they're modern slip joints either, I own a few of those. But these two just don't ' do it ' for me I'm afraid. Good review though. 🙂

Thanks, you too!
Those are pretty cool. I like the clip more as well. Take care my friend!
Thanks, you too!
the clippoint is the way to go on this with the swedging with the way they have ground that edge into a point. looks much better
It definitely does

@@SlipjointSawyer it’s always the sak’s. I give it minutes when I get mine back from Dan

The don't give you the fizz as Pete would say 😂
@@SlipjointSawyer No, I can't say they do give me the " fizz " ( I'm gonna remember that term ) lol.
