We should be putting in risers, but we have an overflow repair to address before the rain comes.

Charlie's dam lawn is impeccable
His damn dam lawn looks better than my damn lawn lawn.
@@brentjensen85 🤣
Like a good neighbor DP is there.
How many times do landowners usually get in the way to "help"? But NOT Charlie! I admire that man to jump in just like a professional!
Charlie, may your days be many and your heart filled with the satisfaction of a life well lived!!
That's a beautiful piece of property!
Thanks Charlie for letting us in to your backyard 👍
He seems like the type of guy that will work until the day he dies.. He always has a story for every situation .
Thats some precise digging Mike. Good job boys.
One thing for sure Mr. Charlie has an absolutely amazing place, and like always awesome job DP and MBTS. I would paid good money to see MBTS crawl in that pipe
Nice interruption to the "field tile channel" 🤣 Always good to see some pond dam work!
@@alsnow3582
You mean some dam pond work 😆
I like these types of fixes. Lot more interesting to see your expertise dealing with difficult issues. You had me glued to the video.
Me too!
Charlie is a man after my own heart! Bloody great digger ripping away but he's not going to let his shovel have a wasted journey
was thinking he don't do much leaning on that shovel lol
@@Mcgiever100Here in Holland, communal service guys always take a shovel with them to lean on, while a contractor with a mini ex does the digging.
@@Sjanzo is it normal to ride by in the car to speak in a loud tone; GET TO WORK ! It's a unwritten law here in the U.S.
Charlie remindes me of my brother inlaw. Charlie keyser (brother inlaw ) passed sadly this past year. sudden unexspected.. miss him much. he was just like your charlie. saved every thing.
What a mess. At least he has the right guys working on it.
I must say, I think you can fix anything that is put before you. You always seem to have a solution. Experience always works in your favor! Nice job guy's. That is a nice piece of property!
That’s a beautiful place. Another beautiful job. You and Arron are a special team. Thanks for the video ❤
He has a beautiful pond and property! I sure he is very happy that you were able to repair the issue so quickly!
Time will tell if they fixed it. Just sayin.
As long as I’ve been following DP, never have I seen him be so exact an operator! Good job big guy!
Old Charlie REALLY wanted to help.
supplied old grease, stayed in Mike's way, and told Mike when to WHOA!!!
@@addiemellody5688 LOL!
Talk about being in the right place at just the right time to help a home owner. Nice Job on the repair. The home owner has a Beautiful Place there. Keep up the good work Sir!
MBTS sounded like a NASCAR spotter!!!😊
The operator's skills has a lot to do with it but the spotter has a lot more to do with it. Great job guys!!!! 🤔👍❤️📹😃
You ain’t kidding when you say Charlie takes a lot of pride in having his place look good. Hope this works for him.
Good morning sunshines! Charlie's lawn is gorgeous! Great video! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
What's sad is not every town has a Charlie. Most will never get to meet a person even close to him. Think I got about a dozen in my hometown. What a gem.
Charlie takes pride alright, and it shows, that`s a beautiful piece of property. I bet after it all settles in, Charlie has it all smoothed out and grass growing in no time, and you will never know it was touched, well done guys.
Wednesday coffees on! You guys rock! ;-)!!!
Morning MBTS and DP!
Charlie is living the dream with his great lookin place there 🤩👍🏻🌞😎
Very nice job Mike & Aaron. You took great care in keeping his property pristine.
Could you of put some concrete where the water line was at the entrance of the pipe where it was missing concrete and the water was coming in? It's seems to me if you would of put more concrete at the entrance that water would not be coming in and creating more of a washout! I like where you put the concrete but that entrance where the water was coming needs some attention! Other than that, great job DP!!
I wish all the groundmen could communicate that well
Charlie has a great place. Man I would hate to have to push mow his yard lol.
That was a nice job men I haven't seen a double bell collar since I was 18 years old
and that's been 48 years ago our family had a farm and a construction business love you guys
Mike, you operate that trackhoe with amazing patience and surgical finesse. Great content here.
good morning
That 140 must handle very well the way you worked around the pipe. Time for a dirt perfect sticker to go on it.
It dose
wow ,,,,they keep the lawn/pond looks like a golf course . wish i lived their. :) love the pride they take in that upkeep.
You guys are better men than I. There's no way i could take that much. No freaking way!
Nice repair you two. Lovely place they have, it's nice you care enough to be careful of the work you do. I've dealt with equipment operators who didn't give a $h!t. Thanks for sharing, Mike.
As usual you fixed it beyond any possibility of failure.
Looks like a golf course with the manicured lawn. Looks like you corrected the problem for Charlie. Now back to Chris.
Hey Mike, you need to hire some of these “Tuber-Know-It-Alls” on here! Think of all the “knowledge” you would gain, and the money you would save!!! 😂
Like the vidseo cos its change then the field Work . Love the field work too .
That pond holds water better than NYA Millennials does.
Hydrology what a concept, tough to outsmart water.
This reminds me of a story. A HVAC contractor named Albert, who was a friend of my father, was called to service a man's furnace. He had a helper he called "Honey". When they got there and Honey was laying out all the tools, Albert was trying to look at the furnace and the whole time this guy was reaching over his shoulder, telling him what he thought the problem was, what they should check and what they needed to fix it. Albert, being short tempered, stepped back said "Hell Honey load the tools, he knows more about it than we do". They left.
Charlie must spend all day on the lawn mower wow he's got it looking like a city park. And although briefly Aaron we did see Mike down in the hole using a hand shovel 🤣 good video guys
Your city must do a whole lot better than mine with green spaces because mine only cuts the grass in parks without ball fields about one a month and as long as it is green or can be run over by a riding mower or tractor than it is just fine and that includes poison ivy/oak/sumac is growing in the middle of green spaces or ball fields 😁
As bad as that was, I could have been worse.it might be just me, and not taking away from the operator, but it seems like it is really easy to fineness the boom, stick, and bucket to get in close to an object and ease the bucket in exactly where you want it, talking the 140, like I say, might be me. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching sir.
Beautiful place! That's a lot of grass to mow and it looks pristine!
What a good looking pond. Nice repair work. The rokus rake would really dress that up. Stay safe
Charlie sure has a beautifully maintained homestead. And I appreciate it and I’m sure he does of the effort you guys took to restore it to as good as it was before you started in a couple of weeks you won’t be able to tell you guys were there. It was a great restoration job very impressive. I bet you’re glad Chris doesn’t require that kind of restoration. Keep up the good work always enjoy your videos.
Yes he does
that is a Beautiful lake/pond and charlie keeps the place up very nice-
Good morning, Mike and little man. Have a great day.
Good job Mike and Aaron great video thanks
For a 30 year old pond with a rock bottom. It's holding up very well. And the only issue was that overflow pipe. I would be grateful and enjoy it the rest of my life.
Mike, Wow, you are one fine operator (while bowing and prostrating myself to the proven Dirt Master) My only concern is hoping any seepage that gets up to the New Collar will disperse side to side, and not travel around/under.
Mike, I think you are one of the better operators that I have seen. You and man behind the scenes seem to work well together. Keep up the good work and may all of you be blessed.
Charlie’s homestead is beautiful place, they look like they have maintained it well.that pipe looked like it was installed properly at the time it was done.but things do tend to start failing.great save, great video, great job.just keep doing what you do best.be safe. I’m sure Charlie is very happy he will have no problems in future,we hope.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Great job in looking after the customer's property. Professional workmanship!!
We had a township ( similar to your county) road supervisor that couldn’t understand that you need to pack the lifts beside the culverts …He would only pack one foot above the the culverts which would work fine for flat ditches but on the sloped ditches the material was not packed under the culverts. On the steep hillsides we would lose about 4-5 driveways every year because the water would wash the soil from”underneath” the culverts…he was retired for 20 years and his culverts were still being fixed..
I like now well to worked with this customer/. Land owner 😊. Also good seeing landowners jumping in to help.
Better emergency repairs, than collapsed dam during a storm. Thanks for helping your community,.
Oner proje4ct ended up being hijacked by another project, but glad you and Aaron have it hopefully fixed now and Charlie is happy..Great Video.
Love the "Mid-Pour" adjustable forms. Dern good movie
Thanks! DP
Charlie has a nice place. Thanks to you, and care to do things right, that's why people and friends come to you. Thanks for the video
Good job Mike
That was a cool little project.
Good repair. The concrete anti leak collar is essential on any pond drain. Now they have steel anti leak collars with a rubber gasket for SDR pipe. I've never liked using a culvert pipe for a pond overflow until I'm at least 25 feet away from the edge of water. I haven't tried one of the new collars. Concrete has always worked for me. Nice job
Awesome job! Finding the problem and fixing it. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
Great excavator skills. Helps having MBTS guiding like a pro. Charlie is old school. Don't throw away anything, it might come in handy some day. My youngest son is the same way. Great work guys.
Wow. You could never do that here in 🇨🇦- the frost would jack that concrete (and the pipe) right out of the ground in a couple of years. Warmer climates must be nice. 😊
Looks good keep it coming 😊from Phill and Sarah Parnham from New Zealand
I believe there might be a couple fish in that pond. Beautiful place.
Mike you are one seriously excellent operator on those machines you are indeed brilliant to watch.
Nice pond! I didn't hear you complement the Case on how well it handled removing the dirt from around the pipe 🙂
Good news is you're not the first to put a hemi in a tri 5 with Finnegan having already done blasphemy with a gen 1... This will be a cool project 👍
Your trust in Aaron is great to see. You two work great together and have fun doing it.
I have a question. If the water was flowing under the pipe wouldn't the whole pipe from pond to drainage have to be removed and soil placed down?
Also looks like a covert under the gravel road would be useful.
Perfect day to be pulled the other way 😂😂 I’m surprised that the way Charlie is that first collar got by him🐕!! Nice to dig in some clean soil I bet😉 Charlie you have a beautiful home ❤Great job guys 💪💪🤗🇺🇸
Nice repair. That is one very nice yard and pond.
World of patience, seems like a home owner helper surcharge might be in order. But then again, Mr. Charlie is quite a jack of all trades, an extremely hard worker and has a hardware store supply too!
That pond is beautiful. Great job using the concrete to fix those joints gentlemen!
Good American hard-working people!
A masterclass in excavator control skilfully guided by Aaron. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Interesting repairing of dam leak. Thank you for sharing.
I'm always so envious of you guys in the Norther Hemisphere of having such beautifully green healthy grasses. Ours here in the South Pacific (NZ) is basically "Heinz variety" - 56 different types to the square meter, and they never stop growing all year round! Nice place Charlie, I think you and Jerry must compare notes!
Charlie is quite the hands on guy. Probably why his place looks like a cover photo for Farm Quarterly!!!
You guys crack me up. 😂
You know its a pleasure watching somebody that skilled what they do.. I'd be buying new pipe for sure!..:)
Enjoyed watching this one , picked up a couple of good operating techniques and it wasn’t the shovel work .When I see a shovel I lift my operating to a new level
Thanks
Charlie sure takes good care of his property.
Best regards with this job fingers 🤞 crossed all okay 1st video for a while been in Belgium for holidays
the 140 needs grease in the main boom pins
Hi Mike & Aaron & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Aaron & Friends Randy
What do you mean don't go any deeper, that's good! Aron? That's Dirt Perfect right there!
Thunderbird 7 is a go!
Bells go uphill!
Good job guys love your work
Hands of a surgeon operating 140🎉
Good fix there bro, that 140 has nice soft controls to it for this type of work. All n all a great video guys and well worth the price of admission. What a beautiful place Charlie has too. Safe travels. Ken.
Very nice place Charlie - a place to be very proud of!! All the best to you and the Mrs.
