Actually pure (deionized) water not only tastes bad, it's dangerous to drink in large amounts as it will suck ions out of your body. So drinking water filter either should leave some minerals or remineralize the water after purifying.
@@morgangentle1515 Whatever he said, either it's not pure and tastes well, or it's actually pure but he lied how it tastes. I doubt it's actually pure as water purifiers that produce real pure water are used for laboratories or manufacturing, not drinking.
Huh.. that's a good question. I didn't think to test it. My sister-in-law has it now. If I get over to visit her at some point with the test strips I'll give it a try. Someone on the Amazon reviews/comments might have the answer already!
Not really. All the water is held in the side tank and then when you press the button for water it is pulled into the filtration system, gets filtered, and comes right out. There is a little bit of water held in the filter lines, but there is no separate tank for filtered water. It's all filtered "as you need it"... hope that helps!
