    Hey Hugo, this is a great video, thanks for sharing!
    When did you go there? The video is from Feb 2020, so did you go during Spring Festival? We're thinking about going during the Golden Week and are wondering if the place will be too crowded...

    • @hugoye1768
      @hugoye1768 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was there in November 2020. Do you mean National day? I’m sure It would be crowded at hotels since we are not able to travel abroad. 😂

    • @hugoye1768
      @hugoye1768 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think it will be crowded in the hiking trails. It’s high altitude. It’s tough for some people. Most of them are enjoying the view from the village.

      @trailotopia4715 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hugoye1768 Yes I mean the national holiday... last year we went to Yading at this time and it was horribly crowded (you couldn't even see the floor due to all the people), even though it was at 4000+m altitude. So I'm really concerned about visiting such nice places during the public holidays!

      @@trailotopia4715 Haha I get it! Yading is more popular than Yubeng definitely. It’s better to stay home in golden week. :)

    Is the trail well marked? I am planning to do this on end of October

    • @hugoye1768
      @hugoye1768 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great. Normally October is the best time for hiking Yubeng. No rain no snow. Don't worry about the trail. It's well marked. There are hikers along the trail and housekeepers you could ask for help if need.

    Hi Hugo, thanks for this video. May I ask you, is it possible to do this alone if we dont speak Chinese? Thank you

    • @hugoye1768
      @hugoye1768 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! There are plenty of foreigners hiking at Yubeng that aren’t able to speak Chinese when I was there. Multi-language map is everywhere. I’m pretty sure you can find foreign hikers along the trail.

    For 4 days hike you didn't seem to have too much pack, are there any guesthouses? This is awesome!

    • @hugoye1768
      @hugoye1768 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Camping is optional. There are many guesthouses in the village. Firewood and hot water make me feel better while hiking. :)

      The trail is not a circle. The starting point of the four routes is the village.
