Plastic circles cut in half for eyes? What do you use? Where do you get them? you can now buy the finger protectors at the Dollartree !! Ever tried to make a sock reindeer?
I find the eyes in Micheals with the beading stuff or embellishing section for scrap booking. I bought my finger protectors from Amazon. Not yet for the reindeer but great idea...
I’ve made the snowman ,penguin and mice in the past always using rice and never had a problem with the rice going bad I herd u mention u keep it in the freezer have you experienced it going bad I just never really thought about it going bad as you mentioned we all do them a little different so thanks for some new tips and possibly some new ideas so Thank you for sharing oh I did see a woman who put some Essential oil’s on top of the rice to make a nice fragrance which I plan to try and a possible suggestion for you adding some sent to your creations
I personally haven't had an issue at all. but to be sure I freeze the rice before using it...Ive also added essential oils but the scent disappears quickly. I have been using alternative stuff to weigh my guys down...like gravel instead. the only problem is the nose is not as easy to pop out so I use stuffing on the top halve and do the same with the nose.
Like the camera angle and really appreciate your turning the sound up, as I have watched so many (other peoples) that the sound was way too low. Loved the snowman, Jenny. Store them in the freezer?? That's brilliant, especially living in the south (TN USA).
