Ellen Ripley is shown to have a daughter, Amanda Ripley, in the Extended Edition of Aliens. It's officially called "Aliens Special Edition" and I can't recommend it enough!!!!
I had no idea she was ever mentioned, I DEFINITELY gotta watch that version. I love these movies, I’ve been thinking about watching a version of the 1979 film as well, where it shows Dallas’s body being used to make a nest.
@@Rednaxela88 Happy to help!!! :) And yes, I know that version!! The "Director's Cut" of Alien. They made Extended versions of all of the 4 original films, the absolute best extended editions in my opinion, are the ones for Aliens, and Alien3. I did like the extra scenes and what they added to Alien Resurection, but that alternate opening and ending were not that great to me. The Alien Director's Cut had some interesting ideas re-added in, especially that scene you mentioned.
If you have a Blu-ray player, I recommend getting the Alien: Anthology set. It has the absolute best quality editions of all 4 films and their extended editions. On the DVD editions of Alien3 that I own, the production audio couldn't be restored for the extra scenes in Alien3, so they ended up subtitling them. But for the Alien: Anthology set, they got the original actors back to redub those scenes. The set also has pretty much all of the previously released bonus features, including all the stuff made for the Alien Quadrilogy DVD set.

Just finished my first play through yesterday. My heart was pounding with the Alien and face huggers jumping out till the end. Mainly the Alien, because the face huggers are in the same spots.
Great play-through and commentary, hard setting is definitely the best way to play. It gets a _lot_ scarier from here on.

@Rednzela88 The Game is canon to the movies and the comics, and I recently learned this game has a novelization.
Yeah, I had a subscriber(stephanie Mack) tell me all about these games. She informed me that there is an extended edition of Aliens that mentions Amanda Ripley, which I plan on watching in the near future.
