This is the best, most inspiring, vision of the United States that I have ever heard. It is an argument for American exceptionalism that is really about releasing the human spirit so that each person can live to be what they were born to be and pursue the life that fulfills them. I love it!
The point about voluminous law was made by Madison OR Hamilton: "The internal effects of a mutable policy are still more calamitous. It poisons the blessing of liberty itself. It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood; if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is to-day, can guess what it will be to-morrow. Law is defined to be a rule of action; but how can that be a rule, which is little known, and less fixed?"
Thank you. In 2020 I do not recognize America. Until by the grace of God I was blessed to take amazing Hillsdale free online courses from the Bible, the Constitution, American History, Politics, Presidency, Congress, Supreme Court, so many more including, Wars, Aristotle, EuclidMathematics, Economics, and all types of Literature. Who, What, When, How. and even a valiant effort at the eternal why and at least for the moment I do not feel like I am in a episode of "The Twilight Zone." An answer to a prayer. Love in Christ
The incident happened at a private event where Gov. Bill Lee and Dr. Larry Arnn spoke in front of an audience on the future of Tennessee’s education plan. In a video capturing the event, Dr. Arnn belittled Tennessee’s teachers, saying, among other things, “teachers are trained in the dumbest parts of the dumbest colleges in the country.” What garbage person is he? He is the dean of the college? So arrogant, definitely not the Christian Value.
Thank you SENSEI LARRY!
I am interested in visiting your institution. One day in 2023 maybe. Thank you for your guidance.
Excellent always thought provoking and the best investment in those things seen and unseen.
