Stunning work! The Ride was a favorite whenever I visited Universal Studios back in the day, and this really shows off details I'd never before processed. Great stuff, thank you for your efforts!
This is so well done! I originally thought the trailer was a new scan of the footage so you did an excellent job re-creating it! If only Universal would act upon the huge dedicated fanbase that still longs for this ride to return. This is all they would have to do to update it. Great work!
@@BalenaProductions I am so honoured to hear this from you! I loved watching your videos when I was like 8, so it’s incredible to see you watching my animation :D Thank you!
Couldn’t agree more! If they wanted to make it past the 2015 thing…just have Christopher Lloyd or ai recreate it to say “we’re in hill valley the year 2050” could be easily done
This is absolutely incredible and deserves way more attention for the amount of work that got put into it. I hope you continue to work on this because I want there to be a day where its impossible to tell the difference between the original and your exceptional recreation!
Well, everybody can go home now. Stop trying to recreate the ride, it's been done and done right. The phrase "Nice job" isn't enough, but.... nice job 👏👏👏. Fellow 3d artist here, some months ago I recreated the ride myself, but I used the available film and only modeled and animated the interior dash of the ride vehicle (not the standard DeLorean dash). If our videos got married, their children would reset the space-time continuum. 😆
Agreed. And what’s insane is that as great as this is, the original ride film still looks better, but that by no means is an indictment on this creator, but a testament to the genius of Doug Trumbull.
This is incredible! 🤯Such a magnificent piece of work this is! I'm very certain this is the next best thing before the actual 70mm scan. Come on universal, make it happen! Also love at 1:24 you can see the Styrofoam cup from the original reel, LOL! great job.
I saw you started up a gumroad. If you put this BTTF adventure up for sale I'd buy it. I want to do a 3D SBS rendering of it and put it in a real motion chair.
@@wackottl It would take a lot of time to clean up the model for proper sale and check all the assets used. However, if you really want to, you can message me on Gmail and I’ll sell it to you personally.
Can I use this for a music video on my next project please to edit I will credit you in the video fully if possible.. I’m also starting out learning blender this was amazing bro seriously that must of took so much work
Rebuilding it in blender has been a dream for years! Don't suppose we can convince you to open source it? I could use this on the motion sim I'm building, not to mention VR, and 360 stereo video.
@@magicstagedook222 That would be a tedious process to recomposite all the shots together and I don’t see myself doing this in the near time Maybe I’ll do this on the tenth anniversary of this animation, or if more people would want to see this version
GREAT SCOTT...beyond fantastic!!!
I hope this finds its way to the fans because this is an incredible piece of work
This is insanely impressive, it looks just the original ride footage. I still dream of Universal bringing it back one day. Well done!
This has to be one of the most accurate 3d recreations of anything ever. Absolutely amazing job!

We need a 90’s universal VR experience featuring this ride and all the OGs. Seems like it would be so perfect and doable.
As soon as I saw that cup I knew some love had been put into this!
This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, there's the styrofoam cup right next to the clock tower, this is truly sensational
Absolutely genius. So well done!
