well this is the last one i swear lmao
here is the second and last crack of the chinese drama "the untamed". My eyes are bleeding and i won't be able to look at a computer screen for a long time haha
there are a lot of vine references and i had to stop myself from adding more (i thought i could make a special vid "the untamed as vines" but it won't be very soon (also some of my followers must be bored with this lmao)

@@pollux_the_insufferable. the edits are funny but when watching the show I was so anxious whenever he was around because I knew it was only a matter of time. Everyone else who did evil I understood their motivation even though I didn't agree with it. Him, no clue. He's like a murderous child: illogical, playful and dangerous.

@@CrystalWilliamsBrownArt i actually understood why he grew up the way he was. in all his life nobody was nice to him, nobody showed him any kindness or love, so he grew up full of hatred. he wasn't regretful of the many things he did, bcs nobody showed regret when he was hurt by others. however, he slowly became nicer the more he spend in yi city with xingchen, because FINALLY someone showed him some kindness and he was like wow ok what the fuck??????
it still ended badly but for a person who was treated like literal shit his whole life, he really was slowly but surely changing for the better in yi city.

Yup, anything female is just window dressing. Part of the scenery.
It's unfortunate how little focus there is on women, and how BL can be a bit sexist, but at least The Untamed didn't have the obligatory female rival who's only personality is getting between the protagonists. That trope annoys me so much.
The Chinese government doesn't approve of same sex marriage, the live action did a really good job of hinting the main characters' relationship while keeping along the law ( lwj and wwx are eloped in the novel and they have a son )

That part about Nie Huaisang is spot on. The clan members were known for being aggressive after all, turns out our boy was just really good at hiding his dark side. Talk about a plot twist.

Ok two things shook me!
1) The "I hate you I love you" song played in Xue Yang's and Xiao Xingchen's scenes [Great idea!]
2) The "treasure vault" moment between Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao [I didn't realise this could be taken in that way lol. What a fresh new perspective! Totally reminds me of the "Chamber of Secrets" -> I only knew about this innuendo a few years back urghh. How did I not apply the same reasoning?!]
How to describe Huaisang: He helped Ying so much that he didn't expect that he would lose him again and become a stranger in his eyes.
Can you explain to me what he did and why he did everything?

So as you know, Sang and Ying are bestfriends (along with Jiang), they were always together in the palace and Sang also said that Ying is an inspiration to him so they were pretty close, it was said, or just theorized as we see it, that Sang was the one who brought Ying to life, in the first few episodes, when someone was teaching about Ying as a cultivator, his robe and fan were present so the fans already know that it's him because it's the only fan he uses since they were all together. So he protected his soul, he resurrected him and helped him to know Guangyao's intentions. But I just felt something off since he used to be cheerful back then, always have time to have fun but he changed since his brother's death, he already knows it's Yao who killed him but he stayed quiet, nobody suspected him until the very last moment. In the morning of Yao's death, he refused to touch the blood of his headwear because he never wanted blood to be on him. He planned everything while still being clean, he made the others do it so he wouldn't have to. And the final scene when Ying realized and said "Thou shall not befriend with the devil" Sang knew it was meant for him, that made him sad. He thought everything will go back to normal when everything is solved, he didn't expect Ying to doubt him, after all, they were bestfriends. He was already lonely and he just became more lonely. It's like as if they're strangers now
@@woodward_m8594 and if it's still unclear why he did it, it's mostly because of his brother since he was the last family he had and even tho it doesn't show that much, they did love each other very much. I guess maybe some of it is because of losing Ying too when he was being oppresed by the other clans and also him dying. It just drove him mad losing everyone he loves one by one

I just finished watching it for the first time a few days ago so I was a bit unsure about Sang's intentions at the end. The whole thing with Yao and Mo makes much more sense now. You said Sang's fan was in the location of the beginning tho, where Mo was resurrected? I definitely missed that!
