One tenth of a nation? This was written by someone which is considered one tenth of the nation, a European colonists. I appreciate the information being shared with such films.

I’m surprised something like this actually exist from back then…them actually acknowledging black people and their contributions. Almost unheard of from that era. I have a feeling a lot of whites were mad about this being made

The narrator's voice is not of a man which the movie states is one tenth of the nation. Its a play on words. The game European colonists love to play

Do you have a documentary on the first Black artist who worked for Disney, and the woman who created TORCHY BROWN?

@@reelblack Thank you! I forget her name at the moment, but the creator of TORCHY BROWN was way ahead of her time! I'm also curious of people like BLIND TOM, creative and artistic slaves who created wealth for their owners.

I like how it shows these ppl wasn't called afrikaan American, as that wasn't the title given, as most if not all knew u are original to America, before this u was all mostly separate living great life's with ur own everything thriving..I appreciate this👊🏽

That is NOT the reason the phrase “African American” isn’t used. The term didn’t come into use until long after this was filmed. Google is your friend.
