  • Durban, South Africa.
Durban is a renowned holiday resort. L/S crowded beach where a beauty pageant is taking place, - girls in bikinis walk along a catwalk, with onlookers sitting in deck chairs. The winner of Miss Durban competition kisses the compere. There is a cutaway shot to four well built men - 1960's hunks!
There are people trampolining at the beach, sand surfing, and sailing boats. At the beach young men surf the big waves. Tourists walk along the front and are taken for a ride in rickshaws pulled by people in traditional ceremonial African dress with huge horned and decorated head-dresses. Look quite scary.

@ so it's only wrong when whites did it but the Blacks are doing it now for the past 30 years not only to the other races but their own and you think that's Okay
      And not wrong
      Your delusional
Apartheid was there to keep order
The evidence is all around you
Look at what happened when it was removed
      FYI
      During apartheid
The black folks didn't have it as bad as now
      They had their own infrastructure
      Working hospitals
      Police
Access to shops schools and own beaches etc
      Oh that's right
It was maintained by the Apartheid government
It's because of greed and envy
Just like today and incompetence that they don't understand that nothing comes for free that SA is what it is today
So Apartheid is not the problem

I was on that beach today, walking my dog along the promenade. The whole beachfront has been upgraded and modernized since then, it is a fantastic beachfront. This morning the municipality was pressure cleaning the paving and clearing windswept sand. I go there often, the demography of the people there is more or less correct for South Africa. I was born in 1952 in Addington Hospital that overlooks the scenes in this video. This morning an Indian man came up to me and spoke to me about my dog. We had a friendly conversation. He is in his 70's, same as me, he was a very friendly, to think that for most of his life he would not have been allowed on that beach unless he was selling refreshments to white people. It happens all the time with black and Indian people, truly humbling.

As far as beaches go, Blacks didn't do the sun bathing and swimming thing. Some of the best beaches are in the Eastern Cape, just GOOGLE them and see how many Black people are sunbathing. Apartheid was a good idea but it was applied bad most of the time, where it was intended to give their own countries for black people became into a brutal discrimination segregation system with the racism that we see in the end.
But anyway I don't support apartheid in anyway because it divided SA in different countries.

Bruh from google: aim of the apartheid was to maintain white domination while extending racial separation. Meaning it wasn’t good at all, SA just needs to incorporate a better education system, create a lot more jobs and help the economy, then this place will be as beautiful as it was back then.

@@JayanimagicYou mustn't believe GOOGLE as it has distorted History. Apartheid was created to protect the White Culture. What you see in the video is White Culture run by White people, what you have today is White Culture run by Blacks who are trying to Africanise what they got for free and that's why the degradation.

@@Jayanimagic That's BS, there was no chance that the Whites would rule for ever. At the rate the Country's economy was growing the Whites would have needed help to run the Country. That's why there were University's in the Homelands to produce educated Black people to assist but, the West, Socialists, Liberals and Communists didn't want a strong South Africa as all they wanted was under the ground, to hell with the people...

@@minksyz Racism was practiced both ways. But it wasn't Racism from the start as you experienced. Whites wanted to protect their culture and heritage and the Black Indunas prohibited their folk from frequenting White towns and areas for fear that they would lose the Black Culture, which has resulted in a bastardised culture of both!
