Loved this video and think I finally understood the concept of leads and how chords and melody play together. Watched a lot of videos before but this video did it for me. Would love this series to be you doing a full song (including this "pre-lead") from start to finish, I think that would be really valuable to get an idea on how to make a whole track from concept over sound design to composition etc.

What you need? Pc/laptop and headphones. What I use? PC, Krk Rokit 5's, Focusrite Interface, Devine M-Mic, Komplete Kontrol keyboard, Beyerdynamic DT770. Id suggest starting out with speakers if you wanna upgrade, but it truely isnt as important as made to believe:)
A useful tip for beginners that nobody tell is that you can just tap scale highlighting and choose the key you want that you use in you’re song and you can use all white notes for better melody 🎶

Honestly, im not a fan of relying on scales. And for beginners it can easily lead to bad habbits :)
