Can you think of other uses for old mouse pads (keep it clean please)?
I use the rubber from old inner tubes the same way for many uses, e.g. as shims for accessory mounts. Can't throw them away.

+tony marchand. Make your coffee cup coaster wider than the largest cup u use bcos if u dont place the cup exactly centered your cup could tip over & make a huge mess all over your work surface! :(
