To me, what makes these attack animation that much better than modern SRW is the creators ability to utilize subtle things to make the whole sequence more dynamic. Lets compare Shinning Finger and God Finger from T. While Domon was doing his little chant the camera zoomed in a bit halfway through, this makes the whole scene less dull. He also used the King of Heart crest as a bridge to transition back to the mech. There's also the impact when the attack lands. Both Shinning and God went off screen (to emphasize the speed) for a bit. Shinning lasted a bit longer plus the camera actually have to "catch up" with it, making the attack feel that much more powerful. It also helps that the background didn't switch to a generic one. And lastly, the explosion in T is a bit too slow, although this might just be my own preference. Shinning Finger Sword has a few more great examples of proper transition between cut-ins. I feel this is the biggest thing missing from recent SRW.
In terms of animation every game after Z is just bad but 30 is the worst one tbh. They brought the OG Characters and ended up ruining them which is why I hate it and im glad that I dont own it. This is why I prefer the OG version since the animations feel more alive while the others are just disgusting to look at. Not just the animation but the sprites are an issue aswell. Most of the characters only have a closed and open mouth sprite and thats literally it. some do have a shouting-like sprite but its still down bad. Idk about the story. Its probably good, bad idk. They should really look up to the OG versions so I could enjoy the newer SRW games. Besides all this I do wish to see an TV version of the SRW collab games. A movie is fine aswell. We havent gotten that since years. The only collab I can remember is the one with Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Grendizer and Getter Dragon. Would be great if we could see more of those
There's only one thing I wish SRW would do regarding G Gundam, and that's giving "Shining Finger Sword" to God Gundam as an option, because it's always the one thing folks seem to miss from Shining Gundam the most that Domon _should_ be able to perform with the successor unit... Especially so if it were in this quality and attention to detail.

2:47 I hadn't of noticed the message bar adapting to the Super Form until now, that is an extra bit of detail that may force the actual animators to take note
This was amazing but to those saying he should be hired yes he should but he undoubtedly put a lot of effort and time into this one unit and if he was on the dev team he wouldn’t have the time to dedicate to it or the resources the god gundam shown off for t looks just like this but this needs to be made into a fan game

Then again, this creator better pray that Bamco won't send their legions of lawyers breathing down his neck because his work could be considered copyright infringement (fair use isn't recognized outside the U.S.) Besides, Bamco and the SRW team's pride is at stake. Most creators wouldn't want to admit that a fan creation of their IP is much better than their own, nobody likes someone else stealing their thunder and one-upping them at their own game.
If I didn't read the title, I would've thought that this was a trailer for the next game. Shining Gundam is probably my favorite MC suit design that Gundam has to offer. Thank you for making this.
I definitely agree this one looks miles better than the actual games, also on another note people shouldn't just get carried away with comparing this with the actual games, the fact this is a ton of work that most likely took huge amounts of time, while the SRW team nowadays needs to keep up with a yearly release on Namco's demand if they don't want to put off the plug from the series, so that means the limited amount of time and resources they can use, also the fact this is a great amount of passionate work on one mech instead of all the ones that new ones that need per game. I don't defend the recent quality of the games or anything like that since I think they could have more passionate people like him on their team, hopefully they could hire this guy someday or gets to make his own game someday.

They are doing this year is because they want us fans to have something to play until OG3, most of their staff is probably are working on that for few years. That is why is OG 2nd/Moon Dweller were so good, because they took 4-5 years to make. They been using the same engine for 7 years, would be nice to see something else tho. In the end I don't mind, regardless what it becomes, good or bad, I'm still buy it every time, why? I love my mech anime, and having them having conversation with others for fanservice alone is enough for me.
You can't expect Bandai to put so much effort into one unit when there are so many in the game. Can you imagine how much work that would be if every unit's animation was this high quality? if the SRW team had enough time and budget then there's no doubt they could do this. Bandai doesn't need to learn from anyone. this guy is just a fan who put a lot of effort into a small video, keep it separate from a full game. He did do a great job.

So no, not as many as you mght think. :P Though that one gets a pass since it was a console game after such a long time. Probably needed the recycling badly becausethe first game was more expensive as a first console outing. But besides that point, they sometimes put in extra work. In a lot of ways W looked better than a lot of recent games. And that was mostly because of the small great things they did.

Isn't that the reason why most of the series in srw have full of Sunrise recently??? the problem of animation is they want to make a game with a low budget (OFC I'm sure they hire a unprofessional company to lower their cost, just look at Rayearth serise: 3 main mecha and they definitly use 3 team to create it. LOL) and most of the game use the same old animation since Z2 (just recale to HD?). This is not 2000S that you will reuse everthing to make a new game. and stop talk about OG since they use 5 years to make 1 game. They should focus on quality over quantity or else they can just make a mobile game like X-omega and wait till this serise die.

Even though they are under the same banner, they remain separate entities by industry. So Bamco Games still need to pay the licensing fee to Sunrise to bring their IP to SRW and Sunrise can still charge huge licensing fees to Bamco Games or any other game developer. Just because WarnerMedia owns DC Comics, Warner Bros., and Cartoon Network doesn't mean Cartoon Network gets TTG for free. They still need to pay Warner Bros and DC Comics to license the series and have them on the cable channel. Thankfully, the license fee is much lower and CN doesn't have to pay additional costs for production, compared to them making their own cartoons like Steven Universe.

Isn't that the reason why most of the series in srw have full of Sunrise recently??? the problem of animation is they want to make a game with a low budget (OFC I'm sure they hire a unprofessional company to lower their cost, just look at Rayearth serise: 3 main mecha and they definitly use 3 team to create it. LOL) and most of the game use the same old animation since Z2 (just recale to HD?). This is not 2000S that you will reuse everthing to make a new game. and stop talk about OG since they use 5 years to make 1 game. They should focus on quality over quantity or else they can just make a mobile game like X-omega and wait till this serise die.

@@sunhame Bandai Namco Holdings is the parent company of both Sunrise (the animation studio) and Bandai Namco Games (the developer). Even though they are under the same banner, they remain separate entities by industry. So Bamco Games still need to pay the licensing fee to Sunrise to bring their IP to SRW and Sunrise can still charge huge licensing fees to Bamco Games or any other game developer.
Just because WarnerMedia owns DC Comics, Warner Bros., and Cartoon Network doesn't mean Cartoon Network gets TTG for free. They still need to pay Warner Bros and DC Comics to license the series and have them on the cable channel. Thankfully, the license fee is much lower and CN doesn't have to pay additional costs for production, compared to them making their own cartoons like Steven Universe.
