Milan Miracle + 70-an interview with Bobby Plump

In 1954 a small high school team from Milan, Indiana turned into giant killers as they won a state basketball title over a much larger school, Muncie Central. That Milan team provided the inspiration for the 1986 movie Hoosiers, starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper. The man who hit the winning shot for Milan in that 1954 game is still alive as of March 2024. His name is Bobby Plump, and I interviewed him for Saturday Sportsline Memories on March 26, 2024 from his office in Indianapolis.
