Wow! It is great to see and hear that Chevrolet in a Chavrolet. Sorry to say I have a Ford with the same engine and T-5, it works great.
Looks like you got a chance to enjoy part of the extensive state highway network here in Texas. No need for the interstate if you don't want to roll with the crazies. Adds some nostalgia feel for nostalgic cars.
The highway system is crazy in Texas. Never seen so many freeways!
Thanks! Nice cars.
Hi Matt, you guys hit Texas at just the right time of year......still green. Is that Banger in T-Matt's coupe correct for that year car? I'm not that familiar with early Chevrolet stuff . I am familiar enough to know you're right about that Winfield Stovebolt intake being rare....must be flanged for .....what, C, CC or D carb?
It's a 1948 216 six! Intake was sized for a B
@@Seattle_Speed_Shop B seems kinda small to me ..... trying to see if I can make it to the swap meet this weekend. I usually go with my pal Keith.
@godsowndrunk1118 it's for the early 216 motors.
The cowl looks like a 30,31 model A.
From the several woody restorations I've seen my pals suffer through best to avoid them. Take waaaaay too long and cost waaaaaaaay too much.
Oh I wouldn't fix any of the wood. It would be garbage like everything else I build. 😆
@@Seattle_Speed_Shop good one, I'm still laughing. So how's yer hemi project?
Why does it look like the rear axle on that old Chevy is crooked ?
