If the car is 'misting up' at 1:59 you simply hit the windscreen MAX button. ... There is no need to faff about with any other buttons

That adjusts headlamp aim for vehicle loading. If you have a lot of weight in the back of the car the headlights would point at the sky without proper adjustment. In that car, you push in the button in the middle and it pops out, you can then rotate it from positions 0 (highest, car unloaded) to 4 (lowest, car heavily loaded in the rear) then push it back in again afterwards. In some cars, it’s a scroll wheel.
