Since its release the fragrance from Chanel has been massively hyped and popular throughout the fragrance community.
The brand says;
Creator of the new Chanel edition is perfumer creator Jacques Polge who provided this characteristic combination made of musky shades, tart spices, aromatic freshness and masculine, woody accords. Sicilian mandarin, mint, cypress and clary sage are in charge of cold, herbal refreshment. Tart not of the fragrance is provided by a fine dose of black pepper, and woody masculine accords consist of cedar and sandalwood from New Caledonia, shaped and softened by sensual musk and warm tonka beans. This extreme composition is reflected in a combination of freshness, tartness, sensuality, sharpness and strength!

Don’t misinterpret the word sport in this masterpiece ,I wore it on a summer day in a Greek island at a wedding and as the air was getting more and more windy everyone around me was given me compliments especially the ladies 😊

This is worth every penny. If not my absolute favorite…it’s in the mix. I get compliments from waitresses, bank tellers…whoever, wherever AND I love the smell of it. It’s better than the Blu line. Adore it.

I can tell you really like sweet fragrances, lol. Everything you listed minus allure sport is super sugary sweet. I have a large collection, over the years tho I have phased out a ton of my sweeter scents. I still have a few, but they started to give me headaches. I started to decant or sell a lot of them. Even gave like 8 bottles to my dad. Coral fantasy is over the top sweet to me. I could never wear that one. All I have in that genre now within my collection are one million 2019 batch, dior homme parfum, givenchy gentleman edp, armani stronger with you, xerjoff naxos, and killians angel share. And tbh, rarely wear those. As I said, I got rid of a bunch of sweet scents. Now, I either wear woodier scents, more green scents freshies, or some leather based or tobacco based. My collection is out of control lol, it is all over the place tbh.. but, in cold weather I will pull the trigger on some of the warmer sweet scents. Do you enjoy gourmands? If so, what are some of your favorite, as you seem to enjoy that type profile? @@yusuff7_
You’re on point with mentioning the maceration. My first 100ml bottle of AHSEE, I was disappointed with the performance but loved the scent but ran through it within months because I would spray at least 5 or 6 sprays and a couple of hours later I couldn’t smell it anymore. Then I had to spray it like that again.
My latest bottle I don’t reach for it as much as I used to. I’ve had it for about eight months but now when I use it, all I need is three good sprays and I’m good for most of the day. And it seems to smell “richer” than what I remembered.

Hello... you should watch what the Back of the Box says. I have atleast 2 Different Versions of AHSEE right here. Eau de Toilette Concentreé (5hrs/weak) and the Eau de Parfum (8+hrs/above average). If you have no Box because of Second Hand Buys etc look at the Bottom from the Bottle.

Hey Gerard, I agree with how versatile this one is! It's a great balance of sweetness and freshness without smelling too common. This one is a scent that seems to always bring positive attention to me. The people I work with really like this one on me. I almost get an orange creamsicle vibe from this one on my skin. This is like the most generic smelling fragrance of all time, up there with CK One, Dylan Blue, a lot of Boss fragrances and too many other designer releases.
It's like you combined all fresh fragrances into one.
It's not a bad fragrance, it just lacks personality.

I love Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. On a test strip its not that good but on skin after 10 minutes its magic and so well blended. The combination of fresh with the right amount of sweetness makes it a perfect versatile fragrance that gets so much positive feedback when you wear it.
I agree Maurice. It’s hard to get fresh and sweet right. This is perfect without being too youthful or cloying.
So agree! Over the years I must have tested it 3 times on a strip and thought to myself, what is all the hype about? Recently I tried it on my skin and what a difference. A week later I bought a 5 oz bottle!
I had a sample for months and never wanted to try it because it said “sport”
When I tried it this morning I instantly fell in love with the fragrance. I’m never doubting another fragrance again after missing out on this scent

Yes, maceration is no joke. I experience it most with clone houses, but with big name brands it happens as well, it’s just not as memorable bc most big designer house frags come already fully mature out of the box. As for this frag, agreed, 100% masterpiece 😎 Funny, I actually have a new bottle of this arriving today in the afternoon. I’ll compare my new bottle with what’s left of my old bottle to see any difference.

Never smelled that 1. I only currently have 3 fragrances from chanel. BDC EDP, BDC Parfum, and allure sport eau extreme ( just got it) I used to have allure sport edt (50 ml). I enjoy eau extreme more already, but how does Blanche differ from its other 3 predecessors? Does it have a lemony accord to it?
I have my bottle from 2019. And when I wear it’s surprising to a lot of people. Well worth the hype and the smell. Thank you for giving us your take. Salute. Try also the Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche.
Have you tried wearing AHSEE in the day then layering it with Edition Blanche in the evening? Give it a shot, its a good thing.

That's a fragrance that at first I was not sure when i BOught it. But, I tried it again in 2023 ans I really enjoy it more. You are right when you say that's it unique.

Got a 2ml sample of this on the way. Going to compare with BDC EDP, Ultra Male, Dior Homme Intense, Layton, Hawas, and Pure XS. I've already smelled most of the other goats, so excited to round out my experience.

I 100% agree with testing it on skin. When I first sprayed it on, I was not really a fan of it, possibly because I expected a similar aldehydic opening to the original. As it dried down, it really set in well on my skin though. Over the next few wearings, I did really begin to enjoy the opening. I am with you...As long as I can afford it, it will be in my collection. Thanks for your take on this!

I prefer the original Allure Homme Sport over this. When I tried it on my skin I also had a hard time detecting it, and just assumed the performance is horrid. But more than likely I just went nose blind. I will test this again and see if my initial opinion has changed.
The same happened to me until I was getting a ton of positive comments about it.

i wear this one for 10 years now and two big magical things abut this perfume is that it's good for work place and date and gym and any occasion and the second one is this scent not goes out of date and it's stay very modern till this day.

Love this fragrance. It is expensive for a designer and Chanel is so protective about their products hitting the grey market. Performance is average for me, I get around 4-6 hours depending on the number of sprays but my skin drinks fragrances. I'll probably never go through my bottle just because I have too many lol

I'm relieved that others have experienced the performance drop-off, but it's not a disaster. I was so disappointed after I replaced my BDC with this. I tested it on my skin while shopping and was sold. Then after an hour on the first day of wear, the scent vanished😢
I've been kicking myself since, but I'll certainly be trying it out more and not watching the clock as much.

I agree Gil they do compare in certain ways. This has far more Tonka.
I, like so many other people get like, a wood shaving/play-doh vibe in the opening, then it dries down to a creamy citrusy, very bright and carbonated scent. It's really quite nice.
Luckily I don't get the playdoh but I know some do with other fragrances as well.
I own a 2012 batch edt concentree version. I think it’s ok.
I prefer Versace Ph over this one. Versace feels more fresh, more citrus, and has better floral dry down. The allure sport extreme smells almost identical to missoni wave but with an added sweet playdough scent.
The three are very similar. if you like this type of scent but want aquatic go with wave. If you like more floral go Versace pour homme. Allure sport eau extreme is right in the middle with a touch more sweetness.

Very good video, with great information and points. I think it’s a great fragrance and is worth the price tag. Owning both, I do find myself enjoying the predecessor Allure Homme Sport to be a bit better. Both great though. A good alternative could be Aoud Lemon Mint by Mancera. More affordable, great presentation, very enjoyable and mass appealing fragrance.

I’ve avoided this fragrance for a while for a few reasons. I’ve tested this at Macys multiple times and it was always a little too “loud” for me. I’m a little older and have a bit more of a mature taste, but still have plenty of more youthful scents in my collection (Eros, Dylan Blue, etc). Also, I saw a review on Fragrantica that compared this scent to a “freshly cleaned porta-potty” and I’ve just never been able to get this out of my head 😂.

Joe I understand what you mean. It definitely calms down after the first hour or so. Its office safe in my opinion and I think it has elements to it that can work for any age.
I literally wear this to the hospital where you aren’t supposed to wear parfum/cologne it’s that safe of a fragrance
I'll share my story of trying to test this on skin. I was at the Macy's in the Century City mall in Los Angeles. If you lived here you'd know it well, but if not just imagine a fancier Macy's. I've bought fragrances there before, but it's almost always from placing an order online and picking it up, because the staff there is just the stuff of fever dreams.
I had gone in to pick up a purchase, and though I usually avoid sampling there for obvious reasons, today I wanted to give myself a little sprays of this one.
For context, the way the fragrance section is set up here, you have escalators in the middle, and to the left you have most brands: YSL, Paco Rabanne, John Varvatos, etc. On the other side, there's a bit of makeup, but at the far edges all on its own is the Chanel station free standing. No one behind a counter or anything.
I had stopped for a moment like a suspicious animal of prey with my bag in hand, looked around and saw no one. In my ear buds I was listening to The Way Home by Magic Sword, which really set the mood. With no one in sight and my inspirational music bumping, I looked down, grabbed the bottle, and in that split second of looking down and back up, I saw a salesman literally sprinting at me from the opposite end of the section trying to make a sale. Not a quick walk, no, let's be clear, he locked eyes with me and showed pure determination and was in a dead, focused run. The man was wearing a tie. Some men who wear ties have jobs which require them to run. Fragrance salesman is not one of them. The song I was listening to didn't make it any less surreal.
I have anxiety reading this! I understand that feeling of slithering through the fragrance section at Macy's trying to go unseen and if I see a bottle in a relatively low traffic area I 'll try and see how quickly I can grab spray and screw. I have yet to succeed at this. They come out of nowhere!

This was one I purchased based off hype & was not a fan of… I sold & grabbed edition blanc instead… now that one… is worth it

I first bought edition blanche and was super excited having then so high expectations for EAU extreme but was really disappointed after purchasing and decided to return.
So they are very different then? I haven't smelled blanche yet.
@@gerardgeorge there is absolutely nothing in common apart from name. Many reviews say that it smells like a lemon cake and I totally agree but it's not necessarily in a very sweet way. cost of both is actually the same therefore at this price range I would go for blanche with no doubt. I've just ordered the 'original' allure homme to give it a try hence will share my impressions soon.

Versace Pour Homme smells damn good, got so many compliments from woman and man and it s so cheap

If you want to be able to smell a fragrance that has anosmia problems on yourself for longer, and aren't worried about others smelling it unless they get close, spray it just on the small of your back. There is a pulse point there that is hot enough to radiate but far enough from your nose that you will continue to smell it. It will waft up your top just enough to tickle the nose but not overwhelm the sense of smell. Only downside is that others can't smell it as much.

Was, Jacques retired and his son Olivier Polge is now Chanel's house perfumer, one more comment, Sport here is not meaning sporty that's a very common mistake and I can see a lot of people just don't get it right we are not talking about a gym fragrance we are talking about dress code, so in this way sport meaning for example a sport jacket, dress shirt but no tie, remember we are talking about Chanel meaning class in a bottle, maybe JJ can say if I'm right or wrong but to me aldehydes are kind of a Chanel signature is like the ambergris in many Creed fragrances, this cause anosmia? for sure and I'm happy you mentioned it, is not my case but I was really surprised when some friends were reporting poor performance, then they thought I had the EDT concentree version which is the first formulation but no, I have the current EDP is probably the one you have (check the bottom of the bottle) and I can smell this in my case after 10 hours, and in cloths this thing can stay for days, I totally agree with you, people can comparet that Versace or the Missoni one but they don't have this creaminess this quality and class that only Allure HSEE has... great video George.

I bought this probably 5 years ago it's the EDT version and personally for me it's too strong. I spray it in the air and walk under the mist. It's on my skin until I wash it off. I really like the scent but people around me seem to either love or hate it.
Mine is the EDP. My guess is yours probably projects a bit stronger.

I understand Nick its not cheap but I think its worth it if you can find a way to work it into your budget.
Honesty, I LOVED it when I smelt it at Macy's for the first time. Then I got it and I hated the smell. It smelled off. Then I went back to Macy's and didn't like the smell anymore. So weird. I much prefer Missoni Wave. The mint and musk of AHSEE just didn't smell good to me.
Damn sorry it didn't work out for you but Missoni Wave is a similar take on that style of fragrance.

Allure homme sport is better than extreme imo. Then Allure Homme is better than all of them imo. Edition blanch edp is woodier than edt with same lemon. Bdc Parfum is the most refined and highest quality juice. While bdc edp and edt have slight differences, but bdc edp last longer than the edt.
I like the BDC EDP the best for sure.
My wife hates it .. I have the 2016 formulation it’s strong but smells like orange mixed with baby powder per my wife … missoni wave is better
Wave is solid especially for the price although it is getting way more expensive.
I would cop a bottle of Missoni Wave 100ml & a bottle of Dua Fragrances version of the Chanel & its called His Aspirations & still have enough for another Dua fragrance 🤷🏽♂️. But that's me

Not ideal but could definitely work. The OG allure home sport would be a better option imo.

I’m newer to fragrances and this one…this one hit different. I stopped by Macy’s and they gave me a scent strip of it along with a few Dior Sauvage samples.
I probably looked like some kind of druggy from how I kept smelling that paper strip my whole drive home. Talk about addicting.
Bought a 5oz bottle online that afternoon. If they sold 10oz bottles I would have paid up for that 😂

5:11 I don’t know why but to me the opening smells a bit similiar to Eros Flame with that orange mandarin note. Might just be me though

I just got this yesterday. A friend gave me a bottle from 2013! It’s been macerating for 10 years and is nearly full. It’s unbelievably amazing!
I’ve tried both Missoni Wave and Versace Pour homme, but they truly do not compare to this one. Missoni comes close but performance for me is weak. Pour homme is very weak as well. No vanilla/Tonka in the Versace either.
If you are debating getting this fragrance, get it but I think todays versions are not as good as they once were.

Having dry skin, i dont get any chemistry going on with my frags on skin. I just get -2 hours performance compared to most other people

I think it’s been reformulated I recently got a sample and i have trouble smelling it or go totally nose blind
Very common with this scent for some reason. I've tried the newest formulation in the last year, newer than my bottle and I coudn't smell it. Others could. Very strange.
The Performance is really good. But you can't smell it on yourself.
Its weird GTI. This is one I always get complimented on hours after its left my own scent bubble.

Wow great question. I think the Chanel I wear more for sure. It’s easier to wear in most situations. They are also very different so I like them both equally for individual reasons

For office Markus I think 5-6 is safe. It does project for the first hour pretty nice so if you have a commute it should settle in just as your getting to the office.

I wanted to love CAHSEE and blind bought it after hearing all the hype. Unfortunately I found the fragrance to be too powdery for my taste, and it felt a bit feminine. Mostly, it just didn’t smell good to me and was a bit nauseating. I must be one of the few LOL
M G I know many find this to powdery but I pick that up only slightly on my skin.
Better just buy the allure home sport. It's less powdery, less sweeter and more fresher.

Definitely test it first. You like what you like, so if you like it and can afford it, pull the trigger. Had a decant of this and the original gifted to me. I prefer Missoni Wave to the original in every way. Extreme smells nice (and different), but the projection on my skin is pretty weak and the performance is 5 hours max. At $1.45 per ml, that's a niche price for a pleasant designer scent. If I LOVED it, then ok, but I don't.
Totally agree and understand that stance. I think that's what most grapple with when trying to decide on whether they should grab this.
