I used to work out with a few Marines at Sheppard AFB. Those guys couldn't move weight or flip a tire to save their lives....but they could run ALL day. Ran 3 miles with them and they just taunted me the whole time 😂 I suppose I deserved it, though. Oh, and for those in other branches who think the Marines are dumb, they're not. Some sharp individuals those Marines are. Takes a special person to do what they do. AF life is good, but I often regret missing out on the challenge and brotherhood of the USMC

Two things that come to mind when I see videos like this.
    1. Branches need to stop bashing on each other. We’re all brothers in arms. We all stepped up and took our own unique route in the military field. To push and motivate ourselves to seek better.
    2. Marines are the best though.

the air force doesn't have the youngest guys and it's 3rd largest branch out of the five, not the smallest. You're right though, they're probably a little more selective on who gets in then say the army or navy. But with the military possibly downsizing soon it might be tough to get in any of them.

I agree 100%. I was in the Air Force, and some of the guys I worked with were complete idiots. Unfortunately, in my experiences in the military, there was WAY too much of this stupid disputing between sister branches.
I've met smart Airmen and I've met smart Marines. I've also met a lot of both who were stupid. The most frustrating was when we used to go party in Myrtle Beach, and constantly run-into young, drunk Marines (and sometimes other Airmen) trying to pick fights. Very sad.

Air Force has the machinery and the brains, the Marines have the muscle and leadership. If the two of them just stopped arguing for a second they'd realize that they could rain some hell upon our enemies together

Just did this yesterday at a Pool function.. Was pretty brutal due to the fact that it was 32 outside and windy. I ran the 1.5 mile sprint in 2:46 which is pretty slow and 2 seconds off a perfect score and I did the CFT in 2:01. And when he says everyone is exhausted when they finish hes not lying.. It was rough, but was fun during and I was happy to finish it.

Stop bull shitting People. you didn't run no 1.5 miles in 2:45.

hey fuck head, as a Marine grunt we used to do many types of exercises up and down mountains, steep hills under mortar fire from weapons company which used to land near us on purpose, jungle training where each Marine is by himself navigating at night, and then humping or MARCHING for you civilians 30 fucking miles, and then some more PT or physical training getting trash, shit we used to pt right after a patrol in Iraq...fuck you this is just a friendly test to show the Airforce what we use sometimes to keep in shape, now go jump off a bridge...

    • @BattlefieldPolicy

77musica I got this lovely comment based off of me saying that someone running 1.5 miles in 2:46 is absolute bullshit. That would be running 32 miles per hour for 1.5 miles. Now unless your marine grunts were fucking cheetahs in uniform I would say thats bullshit too. Now in my status as a "civilian" that's not true, not that it matters. Now I'm not going to lie to you, I don't do that much day to day, but I am in the service as a Forward Observer, I've been in for 4 years (in the Army but I know you'll go ape shit about that to.) I know you probably have more time in service than me and all that "oorah" shit, but in the end it doesn't matter. I'm glad you have had a memorable career. Have a good one.

Right sere0321. CAS with the Marine Corps is something we have perfected since the 1930's. The Army Air Corps didn't start working with it until the outset of WWII. The biggest blow to CAS within the Marines came during the Korean War when Gen. Ridgeway took away Marine air assets and spread them for the other services (namely the Army). Air Force Sabres were mainly used for aerial combat and the bombing and strafing of railyards and factories in the North and China.
