@@ehsrrim Pls no I warned you at least look anime if you mean entire story of ak OR only story (Which not original just like as a parallel universe) of colaboration with raimbow 6 siege Well this is good one job cus probably not a lot people mainly people from r6s understand why this colaboration is good. (I honestly think they did not even know they got collaboration with this game 2 times)
"What do you mean you won't survive jumping from the 4th floor and landing on your feet on the ground?? I thought you were elites????" - a random Terran civilian to one of the R6 Ops
"Why did you take so long?" "I took the stairs." "Why didn't you just jump from the window?" "If I jumped from the 4th floor, I'd die." Doc was so real for this
dont remember the exact line but there was this one exchange that really stood out to me in originium dust. NPC: wow, you guys don't have oripathy? no infected, a place without hatred, where everyone's equal? lordy loo, what kind of paradise is that? Blitz: ... Frost: ... Ash: *sigh*...
That's the problem with humanity (and most living beings). We form groups based on either similarities or threats. Without some huge outside threat to unite humans, we sort ourselves into smaller groups that clash.
@@ehsrrim you can find those stories too on their character profile and their weapon modules. You can see there how other people reactions on them or how they are living in terra their strengths are fascinating because it focus more on their expertise and tactical prowess which makes them formidable the mentioned story is found on tachanka's operator profile and weapon module [i don't where or if the weapon module stories are available online though]
@@ehsrrim You shoud totally read the event 'Children of Ursus' it is a fun and light hearted story about the children of a certain school in not Russia.

just some weird aspects in the lore for those who are interested: - Ela visited Not-Poland called Kazimierz, which is predominantly full of horse folk, and encountered an Operator rolling for Rhodes Island there, codename Whislash. Her real name is what made Ela miiiidly miffed as she shares the same name with her sister: Zofia - Blitz became really interested in Not-Austria-Germany called Leithanien, went there, somehow rescued a Graf (Count) and became friends with them - Doc is rolling as a wandering doctor and people refer to him as a Not-France guy hailing from Gaul. Here's the bit: Gaul as a nation is already gone but man there are a lot of things linking that old nation to all of Terra - Tachanka likes talking to the Not-Russia peeps, called Ursus. And true to the name, a buckload of people from Ursus are bears. He kiiinda found out about what happened at Chernobog and was simmering and silent for a while (the main enemy force in the first half of the story, Reunion, coralled a LOT of students into the Peterheim campus grounds, and shit went dark in there. five youngins there who are operators for Rhodes Island have varying degrees of PTSD) - Fuze likes to hang around with Mechanist, a giraffe mechanic, in Engineering. finds the head, Ada Church codenamed Closure, a vampire, to be one mouthy girl. - Ash is slowly forming a Terra equivalent of RAINBOW, yet still has DOES NOT COMPUTE moments in the world of Terra. she was relieved to know that Not-America called Columbia here was more or less "normal" - Iana made a shortwave radio which awed everyone yet also somehow managed to catch something transmitting in that waveband - Frost made not-Scandinavia called Sami hunters into fast friends as hunting THERE isn't the same as shit in Alaska. To the bros up Europe's north, operators there are Santalla (Finnish), Typhon (Swedish), and Qaniplaat (actual Sami)
ah yes Columbia, where it was American colonials from 18th century with frontiers and all that while at the same time the Not-military-industry-complex-america from 21st century also exist.
When the Team meets up again after a Year, Ash gives them all a map that marks the most Dangerous places on Terra , The rest of the team decides that sounds like a swell time.
@@ehsrrim Um, to let you know what the reference is about, We the Many is basically a Chthulhu-inspired sea horror faction that assimilates/transforms anything they attack. So maybe borrow some incendiaries from Tachanka and/or Capitao?
It's about equal to the time of pre-WWI for us, so German is still basically the later empire era, Britain is still being as imperialistic as ever, with decline in slow motion, America is in the middle of growing into a superpower with thoughts of conquest (Manifesting that Destiny all over the place), Russia is also in the later stages of their empire, China is still ruled by Emperors and Mandarins, and of course, there's the overarching tone of "we're about to have a great war, so great, we won't need another." But because of Originium Arts and technology, and the lack of gunpowder and automatic weapons, their history developed quite differently. The Catastrophes and mobile cities also changed how things worked for them. For instance, their France got crushed and never was able to recover, due to their mobile cities having been taken, resulting in no chance of the population ever recovering from that loss.
It is honestly Very funny the amount of passion and effort that was put from Hypergryph's side into these collabs, from production of animated, voice acted trailers (both 3D and 2D), getting all the voice actors to reprise their roles, Skins, beautiful CG illustrations featuring the most iconic art piece of Siege recreated in the AK style, new gameplay mechanics, honestly pretty fun map designs, banger OST (search up Lucent Arrowhead's boss theme it is seriously a boop), carefully thought-out, lore-rich stories with interesting themes that tie in with the main theme of the game, as well as fleshing out the Rainbow six characters in a way that could get anyone not familiar with them (me) to get attached to them and pull (I did, 90 pulls for 'em all, baby!) and Ubisoft's side of the collab was (AFAIK) a lobby background of Rhodes Island and a gun accessory of the Doctor (the POV player character) in a chibi design. Highly Funny
That was the most surprising thing to me, they really put the time to replicate the operators in that art style. And for the shitty "artist" that I am, I definitely appreciate the work they put in. I never expected them to respect the IP so well. The soundtrack definitely matches the intensity of siege's soundtrack, and I actually thought of using it in the video, but it was a little too intense for the vibe I was going for.
@@ehsrrimthe fact the stages in the 2nd collab was also in the style of attacking and defending but in blue and orange rather then red was also a nice touch. Not to mention the background to stage select was a top down of the place they were defending (like in choosing your def spot phase) was also a neat touch. They did so well.
The Behind The Scenes video they posted revealed he actually played R6S. Considering how people found hints of him actually liking the other 2 IP they collab with (Monster Hunter and Destiny 2). It all checks out. This is the work of an actual fan who appreciates and love the IP.
@@R4yleonard True. Lowlight, one of the founders of Hypergryph and Production lead of Arknight, is a R6 player. Chinese communities often make fun of Lowlight that he's using his company fund on these collabs so he could justify playing these games on the job.
Honestly what surprise me more in this collab is the realization that gunpowder isn't a thing in terra which is weird considering how many operator use guns
In another words "literal magic sticks in the shape of a gun" Laterano is just Vatican that has America's second amendment to the extreme (and they love sweets)😃
Oh you should have seen how the Arknights operators and Blitz reacted when Doc (R6) was also there. The joke was the name of the character you play as, who also is the head of Rhodes Island in Arknights, is referred to as the Doctor or Doc. After a hostage and bomb situation in Operation: Lucent Arrowhead, Blitz had a reunion with Doc (R6) and said something along the lines of "Once we get to Rhodes Island, I need you to wear this hoodie and mask, and start approving all the Rainbow 6 Squad's request to increase funding." Blitz joking about how our Doc from R6 has the same nickname to Doctor from Rhodes Island. There was really a lot of fleshing out on those collabs. How Iana was fascinated that Terra has 2 moons (because we've seen Iana have some correlation with the moon in her cinematic), Ela being around an art museum and observed the street arts in Bolivar and how Bolivar is too similar to Ela's home country Poland, Doc instantly taking the role of a humanitarian in the slums of Bolivar where a lot of the infected where living. Doc's comparison with originium and oil, both fueling their respective societies, but wondered how society on Earth would be like if oil was as infectious as Originium. And seeing Fuze in joy when he reunites with Tachanka
Talking about the r6 guys in terra- even their stats and gameplay are integrated in how they exist in the story, they have lower defenses and resistance even with high attack, because it's heavily implied that Earth Humans are weaker then the humans of modern day terra (of which the player character might be for various lore reasons). really the r6 collab has a Massive amount of main story implications that are *so cool* but also so well integrated its impossible to talk about without first understanding arknight's world and story.
Still doesn't stop Blitz popping an S2 and somehow stunning the three big burly Sarkaz he's been blocking. Jokes aside, I didn't notice their stats had nice flavor in them to reflect the differences between the Earthlings and Terrans. If anything, their kits do reflect that Team Rainbow are at a disadvantage but not wholly defenseless - their training, experience, and equipment is what gives them needed edge and HG did well in making it clear in their kits.
@@eis6570 lmao, or Ash somehow tearing some poor schmuck after she chucks a flashbang into their face. Actual "Think fast, chucklenuts" meme. Iana's S1 with her grenade throw is also funny, just yeeting the exploding ball at some rando at the other end if the map.
I never quite figured out the strength difference between Earth and Terran humans, because on one hand yes, you have things like Tachanka struggling to prime a Terran crossbow, but on the other hand Ash straight up beats a man to death in the event.
Also worth noting that the guns being more advanced is also shown in gameplay. There are a lot of AK melee ops who wield gun-adjacent weapons but cannot hit flying enemies. Meanwhile every R6 operator is capable of hitting fliers, even the ones in classes that normally shouldn't be able to.
I advise you to read the R6 operator files in arknights. There's not a lot of Text, but it's interesting to see their interaction with Terra, especially with technology. For example, a file that tells how a man from the technical department is puzzling over fixing a Tachanka's machine gun, since there is no gunpowder on Terra
What they did with Blitz's shield is pretty funny. They just went 'meh, just stick a couple of flashbangs on the front of the shield and a trigger to detonate them and call it a day'. They were also utterly confused at Iana's gadget and just changed how it was powered.
@@hdfatcat, partly true, but local gunpowder is not the same as we know it. the inhabitants of Terra all have arts even without oripathy (if I’m not mistaken) and the “gunpowder” contains originium, which is ignited with the help of arts, so yes, there is gunpowder, but it does not look like real one.
@@hdfatcatTerra gunpowder is based on origininum and requires magic and training to ignite, making their guns closer to gun wands. As a propellant, it was described as inferior to Earth gunpowder. Its difficulty of use is why melee, bows, and crossbows are still considered competitive, along with baseline people from Terra generally being much stronger and more durable than people from Earth. Earth Gunpowder had to be reverse engineered and is a very closely guarded secret, with the R6 operators being the only ones with access to it. It was a minor plot point that Earth guns have far better accuracy, range and firepower than their Terra equivalents, along with the fact that literally anyone without training could pick up an Earth gun and fire it.
@@SussyDark it's not that everyone in terra has arts by default. To use arts, all you need is a catalyst; something with originium in it, which is usually in the form of a staff/magic wand, guns also apply. People suffering from Oripathy is that they literally have originium crystals growing on their bodies, so if they wanted they could use themselves as a catalyst. This will worsen their oripathy, however. The arts of those who do this also tend to be more "unique" since they are reliant on where the originium organs grew (for example, Mephisto uses his necromantic arts by using his voice because most of his oripathy is localized in his throat)
Besides Originium catastrophe that ravages the land, we have super-adaptive hivemind creatures in the south sea and reality-bending anomalous entities in the north icefield. Yeah, Terra is not the most ideal place to live.
One of the best collabs imo. Definitely worth my time enjoying through both collab events and still love Fuze’s reaction to meeting one of the habitants of Terra on the second event. Word for word “A furry kidnapping party? That’s new.” That shall live rent free in my head. Can’t wait for an eventual 3rd event.
The Operator Records for all the R6 members are very interesting as well. For example, after the events of Lucent Arrowhead, Doc takes time to travel to areas of Terra that don't have decent access to medical help due to either their location or their racial/national discriminations. In one of the towns Doc visits, he ends up attracting a following of ex-Gualish citizens as a consequence of the occasional french he lets out and from how many of their lives he saves (For context, Gual is Terra's equivalent of France, but it was destroyed and sucked up by neighboring powers following the in-universe equivalent of WW2). He ends up having to give them a harsh reality check to stop them from worshiping him as a lead revolutionary figure. Both the interactions he has with this village and the following conversation he has with the responsible immigration agent really do him justice.
I believe the war of the four emperors is more akin to the Napoleonic wars, similar to how the other powers crushed the ambitious and charismatic Emperor Napoleon.
I also want to point out how the Reunion Movement (the main antagonistic faction for Chapter 1-8 in the main story) is basically the White Masks from Rainbow six siege. They are a terrorist organization and they wear white masks that covers their faces. The only difference here is that Reunion is far more memorable than the White Masks that ceased to exist in Siege's story.
Let it be known that Fuze was bodied by a teenager that was as tall as a kid and a shotgun to the face and chest at point blank is a minor inconvenience with only a bruise to the people of Terra
Well Durin were terra's equivalent of dwarf, shotgun headshots still can potentially kill a terran plus the one taking full blast to the torso were a perro- one of few races in Terra well known for their toughness
Yeah, ig it's just a race thing with Durins being quite hardy. But the R6S squad's guns are still unorthodox and powerful even according to Terra's standards.
I played rainbow for a bit a couple years ago, and stopped for obvious reasons. After playing Arknights for a couple of years now, the collab actually convinced me to play siege again with a friend. Now I can hate my life 2x as fast while playing both of them!
Oh you will not regret reading the stories of Operation Originium Dust and Lucent Arrowhead, The former is shorter and has a shallow story (at least compared to AK's usual way of storytelling) but this is good because it was meant to be easy to digest for R6S who wanted to check what the story is about. It also explores some basic geopolitics of the country where they landed and how the properties of Originium, relative to guns, work. For Operation Lucent Arrowhead, there are some background you need, more specifically the city of Dossoles, Bolivar, to learn because the story became deep. But that's for you to find out.
@@ehsrrim oh trust me, as someone who plays Arknights on casual basis, some stories are... fucken novel long (nearl light event story is infamous for being fucken THE LONGEST in word cound compared to entire game... yeah you gonna have few sessions here man)
@@ehsrrim if you wonder how long AK story is. On average, the shortest stories is 3 hour long, and the average highest is 6 to 8 hour long Main story chapter 8 and 13 is around 8 hour long. And note, THAT is only reading the story alone, not counting the time spend in gameplay.
Seeing Arknights in the Wild is so funny, the r6s collab was totally a shock for EN arknights players and its nice to see people talk about the game. Nice video
We all wanted R6s Ops to have some casual interactions (espescially since the whole R6s crew got split), so seeing a collab on other games of all things to have these Ops interactions is so good
My favorite part of the events is how they acknowledge that the guns aren't as effective because of the constitution of the people there but that even knowing that their guns are easy to use and that it doesn't take any magical skill means it could change how warfare is conducted on terra should word get out. Fyi the ease of use and the effectiveness of their guns is still there, even with originium dust rounds moving their effective range from 700m to 200m. It's like shooting at people who have kevlar everywhere on their body, sure it won't penetrate but it'll likely break some ribs or crack your sternum and getting shot in the head can vary from concussion to brain hemorrhage depending on the damage. It really puts into perspective what kind of impacts these random mercenaries and soldiers could have, should the information about their weapons and how to manufacture them become known. Also it's likely that there is slight differences in chemistry for terra or that they haven't discovered the base parts for nitrocellulose (modern smokeless gunpowder) so they use a substitute gunpowder in the form of an originium dust compound. edit: The rounds are only effective up to 200m
I'm pretty sure the chemistry on terra isn't different than on earth it's just that originium arts can control chemical reactions and physics. If you look at reed's (vanguard) file it says that arts can directly control combustion, not to mention what reed herself has as arts.
The original, earthling guns are as deadly to Terrans as they would to Earthling humans. OD story shown how Ash's team tactically dismantle a Sarkaz merc group, with the latter mentioning "Sarkaz don't die that easily, even against Sankta's guns". The current weaker guns are modified guns, considering there are no gunpowder tech to resupply the og guns.
But they still could've used black powder. Its more then adequate for full-auto modern guns, but is simply outclassed by modern gunpowders in ease of storage and reliability (basically you need to clean the entire gun after mag, so you don't constantly jam).
@@deauthorsadeptus6920 why would you use black powder when the originium rounds work just fine? You're dealing with an issue of muzzle velocity and firearm maintenance. Not to mention the massive amount of smoke created by black powder which serves as a disadvantage cause you're creating a personal smokescreen everytime you fire your gun.
With R6 ops we can compare things in Terra with our world and only them can do that. Thanks to them we got to know plenty of fun facts about Terra and also their reaction. The animal features in Arknights character also tied to lore, it's already explained and it's wild.
I think the thing about Lucent Arrowhead I liked so much was that it wasn't just "R6S operators end up on Terra, what culture shocks will occur!", but also a pretty thoughtful story about the commercialisation of art, passion for creating, and how community and culture forms around said passion.
I never skipped either Rainbow Six collab story bc it's so good, the action and humor came in with a solid pacing. And as you've said, the characters are amazingly written. Shit got me attached to Team Rainbow and even the NPCs.
The two R6 collabs were honestly amazing. I've never played R6, and I was really into them. The R6 operators were fun to read about, and they shed some really good light on various parts of the Arknights universe because of their Earthling perspective. Mundane things like physical strength and toughness, the effectiveness of real guns, the inner workings of technology like cars, the mundane effects for Oripathy and Originium, what happens when an infected dies, and more. It's really good world building on top of R6 being good protagonists themselves. The R6 operators are also just fun to play as well. They all have kits based on their R6 kits, and it makes them very unique among the Arknights operators while still being effective. I run a team with all 8 R6 operators for this reason alone.
Im apart of the arknights community been playing the game for only 8 months from now, and i can confidently say the r6s collaboration was by far some of the coolest events weve gotten and probably the only story that ive actually read the dialogue on.
Not only event stories are pretty good, r6 crew also have some extra bits scattered around here and there in their operator records (basically a small story around that specific operator, or maybe not just that operator, but they are kinda the main character still), files, and module descriptions (module is a one of the ways to upgrade your operator that enhances them at some way +has some description attached, because modules are usually very specific items like Ash breaching rounds), so yeah, fun stuff to go over Man, the way Tachanka reacts to all the awful shit going on in the local Russia is just... Damn, he got hit with depresso. I wouldn't really recommend diving too deep into that, unless you want just an extra bit of context on how R6 crew hangs out here and tries to find their way back to Earth in the meantime
Tachanka's oprec gives an interesting insight into Terra's equivalent of Russia - Ursus - and how its circumstances echoes the lead up the Russian Revolution. Hell, Doc's oprec is my favorite since its one of the few in-game materials that revolves around the Gaulish folks and their sorrows.
@@cmstrlisteningpostno.1269 Yeah he realized that he would probably be around for Ursus people's revolution. Only question is - will their philosophy be some form of communism? Or has it even appeared yet on Terra? Have they gotten their Karl Marx, or will their great thinker be someone else, championing another philosophy? Even better, there's hints that their Lenin might well be one of the girls he's currently taking care of.
I like how they're physically much weaker than Tera natives since they're just normal humans, but their equipment and tactical acumen lets them effectively fight. They'd probably be deeply concerned seeing someone like Patriot or Talulah in battle.
Yet in gameplay, Ela can absolutely wreck even the most eldritch of horrors 💀 Ash definitely feels more balanced though, of course she does as she's an older operator in Arknights' life, but balanced for the character too. I'm really sad her Skill 1 masteries are AWFUL though
You’re telling me that arknights made siege lore more compelling than the actual siege lore itself??? Now i REALLY regret not checking the collab out in time
The actual tower defense gameplay does get pretty intensive and strategic at higher difficulties. There are groups of people that dedicate themselves to clearing one specific stage. The game is also pretty innovative. There's not any tower defense game out there that has similar game mechanics that I know of, which is also a reason why a lot of players like the game. And of course the story is amazing.
Originium Dust was an amazing story that made me aware of Rainbow Six's existence in the first place. It's very well-written, and the collab characters are all extremely likeable and humane. They appear to be real, and you immediately care about them and their perspectives in this unfamiliar land. I'm glad it also worked the other way around for you, as Arknights is a very good visual novel with strategical TD gameplay. It's worth investigating for sure!
Just came back to the video to see that it hit 15x the expected goal. Take your time. Trying to get into the lore of the collab story is quite tricky, especially with a huge lack of context.
I still can’t get over the fact fuze got knocked out by a small girl, because he actually thought they were a child, but actually they were just a durin, who are naturally small by their race. Funniest shit you’ll ever see
If watch some arknights gameplay out there, the only operator from R6 that people obsess about is tachanka. try find one. if not tachanka, it gonna be fuse or both of them in one video
I didn't get the six stars and haven't tried iana and frost yet, but here's my experience with r6 ops: Fuze: his skill 1 is good for laneholding which his talent also supports, his skill 2 is very niche but can be a decent nuke that hits literally fucking everything that's not flying in a 3 tile area behind a wall BUT can only be used 3 times per deployment. Tachanka: skill 1 makes him a nuker with the right setup, skill 2 he will BBQ enemies and lower their defenses in the area where his grenade lands (5 tile area: 1 middle, 4 on each side of the middle) Doc: skill 1 he heals himself and gets I think 30 shots that are stronger and faster than normal ones (if you build him, then he'll get overheal that will decay overtime just like in r6) making him able to somewhat sustain himself and do good damage especially from the backlines because his talents buffs his attack against enemies not blocked by him and his attacks ignores I think 20 of the enemy's res, skill 2 he shoots a stim towards the direction he's facing and the first ally that gets hit with it will be healed (and like skill 1, can get overheal) this is very fucking useful if you need a big burst of healing BUT can only be used 3 times every deployment. Side note: if you elite 2 him, he will be able to be placed on RANGED TILES Blitz: stun is his game, both his skills stuns the enemy. Skill 1: stuns all enemies in the skill range and disable their special abilities for a few seconds BUT can only be used 4 times per deployment, skill 2: attacks all blocked enemies, buffs his attack, buffs his attack speed, his attacks now stuns enemies, and buffs his talent. Side note: talent 1 makes him prioritize attacking stunned enemies and buffs his attack against stunned enemies, talent 2 I... I honestly don't quite understand this one because it just says shrugs off which means resists, basically resist 25% damage if there's a ranged tile to his side or behind him
for anyone who's into merch, the arknights merch store actually sell some r6 siege related mech. not much right now, just acrylic stands of Iana, Fuze, Doc, and Ela, but also a mat too.
Actually not an Arknights sleeper agent here- a project moon one trying to figure stuff out about arknights since we're about to get a collab too in about a year.
Let's not just forget that Arknights' RI Elite Operators are almost similar to Rainbow Six Operators and not just that. Black Steel Worldwide shares some of the same traits with R6 Nighthaven PMC.
Hey, I'm a rando from the Arknights side. In my opinion, the two R6 collabs for Arknights has been probably the best i've seen in terms of characterization. We get to se operators on both rosters do what they do as themselves, and not as a footnote. I wasn't as much of a fan of R6 Siege, but I do very much like the characters. Good video, and nice to see someone outside the target demographic enjoy part of the game. Edit: I saw you've got over 1k likes. Looks like I'll be around for that lore video XD
Another has been claimed... Seriously though, the event slapped and was really fun, ntm all the operators are fun to use in-game. I do highly recommend Arknights, for it's dark and sophisticated story and world-building, pretty fun and challenging gameplay, and that all the characters are very memorable. Sure, the story is a very long read, but it is broken up into missions so you can do it whenever you want, really.
We just need 4 more collab operators from Team Rainbow, and we'll have ourselves a full R6S 12 man Squad! Just need a Vanguard, a Medic, and maybe even a Supporter, and we're pretty set!
Lowkey i think its pretty cool how accurate they keep the r6 operators kits in arknights to the actual game too. Like ash and iana having 31 ammo on their skills to match the g36c, or ela having 40 ammo for the scorpion. Most of the r6 operators also have a limited amount of times they can use their skills like in siege (other than ela for some reason lmao).
If you wonder how the collab is canon, it because they are related to 2 important lore in AK: Originium and starpod( also known as fake sky). First collab about Dr. Levi discovered originium and build machine to find source hence teleport whole Ash team to Terra. But where the Originium come from we don't know until one important character name Kaltsit get her skin. Her skin take place in alternate universe where originium going out of control to the point it can even breakdown oxygen molecule. One of her skin dialogue said the situation is so bad that it originium spread cross universe. Meaning Ash Team come from alternate universe where earth pretty much doom. 2nd Collab don't have much lore related. Tachanka went Ursus( equivalent to Russia), Ela went to Kazemier( Polish equivalent), Doc shock that French no longer exist in Terra and get chase because he speak french. Iana however interest to participate in study for Starpod AKA fake sky and she pick strange signal from outer space
Also check out the song 'Lean On'! They made a whole standalone song celebrating the crossover, but because they can't include the R6S characters in the video for it they have Siege (The character in Arknights) take their place! *"There's no compromising, eyes on the prize.* *We're from different world, but fight the same fight."*
Well, I think you know what the topic for your next couple of videos will be lol The Hypergryph team (at least, the creative director, who is an absolute gem of a man) are huge fans of the game, which is why this collab feels like it has so much... soul to it. I think for your next video, you could maybe cover how the isekai'd operators' kits translate between the two games, or what happens with each individual operator when they're off doing their own stuff (e.g.: Frost goes to not-Northern Europe, Tachanka goes to not-Russia and forms a deep bond with some very, very traumatized children, Ela goes to not-Poland and meets a confident, assertive, and skilled Polish woman ALSO named Zofia, and so on). Personally, I'm a huge fan of these types of videos (they scratch the itch of me wanting to make similar types of videos, but can't due to a lack of time), and I can see more Siege/Arknights lovers crawling out of the woodworks to engage with your content if you continue with this topic. Just know, though, the wiki isn't always completely accurate, but they're usually on top of things with transcripts and whatnot. Or... y'know, ask the community.
The hive calls, and we answer This event also gave us the best perpective into the fisiology and fisical capabilities of the citizens of terra when compared with normal humans
Just so anyone know, Doc's 12 gauge shotgun point blank just merely incapacitates a soldier of the part 2's villain. That tells us just how strong those people are in Arknights compared to Earth.
I'm honestly glad that Arknights has managed to make a successful Collab with R6S along with the sequel which was even better in my opinion. I really hope that Hypergryph and Ubisoft will have more collabs (despite the current situation). Also I'm getting into R6S as well since the lore is quite interesting so someday I'll love to play it!
lol it's crazy it reached over 100K views, you just summoned the Seaborn hivemind... i love you used the Persona 1 BGM btw, such a nostalgic i feel like...
You do know the project moon universe and Arknights can be connected all thanks to Agatha Christie? Istina literally references one of Agatha Christie’s works in one of her voice lines. And apparently the same book can be found in the Project moon cinematic universe… MEANING THEY CAN POSSIBLY BE IN THE SAME WORLD!
I mean vergil did turn into amiya for a short while during that one april fools cinematic, who knows we might get an arknights collab for the next walpurgisnacht
One of my favorite moments in this collab was a moment that emphasised the difference between the r6 operators and the terra citizens, there was this one moment where tachanka was struggling to pull a crossbow, a standard crossbow, that was the AVERAGE armament for a terra soldier, they use crossbows since guns are considered rare since they use originium to fire.
Yet another Arknights player here I have to say, I was honestly impressed by how good this collab was 1st- it did a really good job at not only introducing me to the R6 characters, but in fleshing out their relationship with the setting as well. I've seen my fair share of collabs where the guest characters simply repeat original quotes with nothing else added, but the R6 operators genuinely feel like they are a part of this game 2nd- these events are probably some of the best Isekai stories I've encountered in general, alongside point 1 they did a wonderful job introducing the setting through the eyes of R6, to the point its even better than the main story in early chapters
not only that theres a tab in the arknights character bio where you can get a side story of the siege characters helping out some residents from the missions they got from the "Doktah"
Here's a contrast I find interesting between Earth and Terran people. Upon their arrival, the R6S squad was surprised by the physical strength of Terran, they mostly use melee weapons and bows/crossbows as range. Terran wield weapons that would be non practical to humans due to their weight and complexity. Firearms do exist in Terra though they are more like modified staffs that requires a specific mastery of Arts (magic), Sanktas (angels) is the only race compatible with guns, other races can learn to use them but often are less efficient or they can't use it at all. That makes guns impractical to most Terrans, which is why upon examining Tachanka's rifle, Rhodes Island folks were puzzled by it's efficiency. His gun can be lethal at 600-700m and requires no arts to operate, which is alien to Terra bc to them a gun depends on the arts power and mastery of its user. R6S operators were warned to keep their weapons a secret and not allowed others to wield their guns, especially Sanktas.
The timeline is a bit off, but the events are mostly correct, good job on your research. Just don't forget that on the second event team Rainbow have to stop a military captain from making a terrorist attack after being turned into the first ever NFT
I don't play arknights but the idea that it takes place on some futuristic world but our lord Tachanka still uses a ww2 dinnerplate LMG and grenade launcher is funny to me.
I say it's more parallel than plain futuristic. Swords and bows are much more common than firearms, and I'm talking AR-15s. Tachanka would probably stand out moreso because he has a gun at all.
Guns are very rare in Terra because they are difficult to use. People who mainly use guns are "Angels" and they have a halo above their head so Tachanka would stand out eitherway. Also operator Ambriel uses what looks like a lee enfield rifle so Tachanka having a dinnerplate isnt that surprising.
Terra's in a situation where it combines 22nd century technology with 19th century politics. It's an absolute mess of rival empires and huge class disparities. It's a genuine problem that their tech is advancing faster than their culture can, and the immortal Kal'tsit actively works to suppress new technologies on occasion because the world simply isn't ready for them in its current state.

- Blitz became really interested in Not-Austria-Germany called Leithanien, went there, somehow rescued a Graf (Count) and became friends with them
- Doc is rolling as a wandering doctor and people refer to him as a Not-France guy hailing from Gaul. Here's the bit: Gaul as a nation is already gone but man there are a lot of things linking that old nation to all of Terra
- Tachanka likes talking to the Not-Russia peeps, called Ursus. And true to the name, a buckload of people from Ursus are bears. He kiiinda found out about what happened at Chernobog and was simmering and silent for a while (the main enemy force in the first half of the story, Reunion, coralled a LOT of students into the Peterheim campus grounds, and shit went dark in there. five youngins there who are operators for Rhodes Island have varying degrees of PTSD)
- Fuze likes to hang around with Mechanist, a giraffe mechanic, in Engineering. finds the head, Ada Church codenamed Closure, a vampire, to be one mouthy girl.
- Ash is slowly forming a Terra equivalent of RAINBOW, yet still has DOES NOT COMPUTE moments in the world of Terra. she was relieved to know that Not-America called Columbia here was more or less "normal"
- Iana made a shortwave radio which awed everyone yet also somehow managed to catch something transmitting in that waveband

Basically:
Terra is "Earth, but with incurable cancer rocks" in a nutshell (super oversimplified, but I think it gets the point across)
so... earth? cuz uranium and plutonium are also cancer rocks (while curable not very often)
It's about equal to the time of pre-WWI for us, so German is still basically the later empire era, Britain is still being as imperialistic as ever, with decline in slow motion, America is in the middle of growing into a superpower with thoughts of conquest (Manifesting that Destiny all over the place), Russia is also in the later stages of their empire, China is still ruled by Emperors and Mandarins, and of course, there's the overarching tone of "we're about to have a great war, so great, we won't need another."
But because of Originium Arts and technology, and the lack of gunpowder and automatic weapons, their history developed quite differently. The Catastrophes and mobile cities also changed how things worked for them. For instance, their France got crushed and never was able to recover, due to their mobile cities having been taken, resulting in no chance of the population ever recovering from that loss.

It is honestly Very funny the amount of passion and effort that was put from Hypergryph's side into these collabs, from production of animated, voice acted trailers (both 3D and 2D), getting all the voice actors to reprise their roles, Skins, beautiful CG illustrations featuring the most iconic art piece of Siege recreated in the AK style, new gameplay mechanics, honestly pretty fun map designs, banger OST (search up Lucent Arrowhead's boss theme it is seriously a boop), carefully thought-out, lore-rich stories with interesting themes that tie in with the main theme of the game, as well as fleshing out the Rainbow six characters in a way that could get anyone not familiar with them (me) to get attached to them and pull (I did, 90 pulls for 'em all, baby!)
and Ubisoft's side of the collab was (AFAIK) a lobby background of Rhodes Island and a gun accessory of the Doctor (the POV player character) in a chibi design.

Oh you should have seen how the Arknights operators and Blitz reacted when Doc (R6) was also there. The joke was the name of the character you play as, who also is the head of Rhodes Island in Arknights, is referred to as the Doctor or Doc. After a hostage and bomb situation in Operation: Lucent Arrowhead, Blitz had a reunion with Doc (R6) and said something along the lines of "Once we get to Rhodes Island, I need you to wear this hoodie and mask, and start approving all the Rainbow 6 Squad's request to increase funding." Still doesn't stop Blitz popping an S2 and somehow stunning the three big burly Sarkaz he's been blocking.
Jokes aside, I didn't notice their stats had nice flavor in them to reflect the differences between the Earthlings and Terrans.
I believe there is gunpowder on Terra, Jessica uses them. It’s just that it’s so expensive it makes sense to use originium based weapons instead.

Both the interactions he has with this village and the following conversation he has with the responsible immigration agent really do him justice.

@@haveiszalfaroqie Yup, their modern era guns absolutely shredded those Sarkaz mercs. That's just normal ammo too, nothing explosive or anti-armor.

Tachanka's oprec gives an interesting insight into Terra's equivalent of Russia - Ursus - and how its circumstances echoes the lead up the Russian Revolution.

@@cmstrlisteningpostno.1269 Yeah he realized that he would probably be around for Ursus people's revolution. Only question is - will their philosophy be some form of communism?
Appreciate the support, I will try not to let you down
I still can’t get over the fact fuze got knocked out by a small girl, because he actually thought they were a child, but actually they were just a durin, who are naturally small by their race.
Funniest shit you’ll ever see
If watch some arknights gameplay out there, the only operator from R6 that people obsess about is tachanka. try find one. if not tachanka, it gonna be fuse or both of them in one video
@@rogytomaru586 I mean, Tachanka is the goat, so no real surprise there
I didn't get the six stars and haven't tried iana and frost yet, but here's my experience with r6 ops:
Fuze: his skill 1 is good for laneholding which his talent also supports, his skill 2 is very niche but can be a decent nuke that hits literally fucking everything that's not flying in a 3 tile area behind a wall BUT can only be used 3 times per deployment.
Tachanka: skill 1 makes him a nuker with the right setup, skill 2 he will BBQ enemies and lower their defenses in the area where his grenade lands (5 tile area: 1 middle, 4 on each side of the middle)
Doc: skill 1 he heals himself and gets I think 30 shots that are stronger and faster than normal ones (if you build him, then he'll get overheal that will decay overtime just like in r6) making him able to somewhat sustain himself and do good damage especially from the backlines because his talents buffs his attack against enemies not blocked by him and his attacks ignores I think 20 of the enemy's res, skill 2 he shoots a stim towards the direction he's facing and the first ally that gets hit with it will be healed (and like skill 1, can get overheal) this is very fucking useful if you need a big burst of healing BUT can only be used 3 times every deployment. Side note: if you elite 2 him, he will be able to be placed on RANGED TILES
Blitz: stun is his game, both his skills stuns the enemy. I honestly don't quite understand this one because it just says shrugs off which means resists, basically resist 25% damage if there's a ranged tile to his side or behind him
Already know who that fellow is
And they are trash but busted when given buffs like boss shredding in 2 secs strong
for anyone who's into merch, the arknights merch store actually sell some r6 siege related mech. not much right now, just acrylic stands of Iana, Fuze, Doc, and Ela, but also a mat too.
Actually not an Arknights sleeper agent here- a project moon one trying to figure stuff out about arknights since we're about to get a collab too in about a year.
The hive has called, therefore I must answer with my presence
Let's not just forget that Arknights' RI Elite Operators are almost similar to Rainbow Six Operators and not just that. Black Steel Worldwide shares some of the same traits with R6 Nighthaven PMC.
I said "we're going to throw Car batteries at cat girls" WAY too out loud💀
LIMBUS COMPANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Hey, I'm a rando from the Arknights side. In my opinion, the two R6 collabs for Arknights has been probably the best i've seen in terms of characterization. We get to se operators on both rosters do what they do as themselves, and not as a footnote. I wasn't as much of a fan of R6 Siege, but I do very much like the characters. Good video, and nice to see someone outside the target demographic enjoy part of the game. Edit: I saw you've got over 1k likes. Looks like I'll be around for that lore video XD
Thanks for the support mate, I hope I won’t disappoint
15 thousand sleeper agents from arknight has been notified, they're rapidly approaching your position
3:03 i thought bro was going speak russian not spanish lol
Great AK story summary especially for an outsider!
Also check out the song 'Lean On'! They made a whole standalone song celebrating the crossover, but because they can't include the R6S characters in the video for it they have Siege (The character in Arknights) take their place!
*"There's no compromising, eyes on the prize.*
*We're from different world, but fight the same fight."*
2:52 actually that was correct 😂
Well, I think you know what the topic for your next couple of videos will be lol
The Hypergryph team (at least, the creative director, who is an absolute gem of a man) are huge fans of the game, which is why this collab feels like it has so much...
The hive calls, and we answer
This event also gave us the best perpective into the fisiology and fisical capabilities of the citizens of terra when compared with normal humans
Forgot the part where they could literally start a crusade with the knowledge they have about modern guns if the sankta found about it
Remember, they spawn in the arknight version of "Sahara desert" and don't know what to do for 45days straight
Just so anyone know, Doc's 12 gauge shotgun point blank just merely incapacitates a soldier of the part 2's villain. That tells us just how strong those people are in Arknights compared to Earth.
well now we have a limbus collab
It's limbus side only tho. Ak isn't getting anything from it
I'm honestly glad that Arknights has managed to make a successful Collab with R6S along with the sequel which was even better in my opinion. I really hope that Hypergryph and Ubisoft will have more collabs (despite the current situation). Also I'm getting into R6S as well since the lore is quite interesting so someday I'll love to play it!
I heard that CEO of Arknights liked R6S VERY much, so he managed to do collaboration
As a player of both games, I love to see that r6 operators in story are strong but aren't some inhuman beings
lol it's crazy it reached over 100K views, you just summoned the Seaborn hivemind...
i love you used the Persona 1 BGM btw, such a nostalgic i feel like...
Yeah the persona 1 music is actually fire
@@ehsrrim it's also severely underated. The game and both Persona 2 duology are my favourite Persona games ever, i want a remake of them....
Arknights sleeper agents, wait till he hears about pjm fans
Man what even is that
@@ehsrrim Make any sort of content related to Project Moon's games and you'll see 👍
the only thing I hate about Arknights are...
fucking skins that you wanna buy, but were never released
&
still no cure to oripathy in Endfield
well, arknights community starts to look like PM community with this sleeping agents
You do know the project moon universe and Arknights can be connected all thanks to Agatha Christie? Istina literally references one of Agatha Christie’s works in one of her voice lines. And apparently the same book can be found in the Project moon cinematic universe…
MEANING THEY CAN POSSIBLY BE IN THE SAME WORLD!
Yet another Arknights player here
I have to say, I was honestly impressed by how good this collab was
1st- it did a really good job at not only introducing me to the R6 characters, but in fleshing out their relationship with the setting as well. I've seen my fair share of collabs where the guest characters simply repeat original quotes with nothing else added, but the R6 operators genuinely feel like they are a part of this game
2nd- these events are probably some of the best Isekai stories I've encountered in general, alongside point 1 they did a wonderful job introducing the setting through the eyes of R6, to the point its even better than the main story in early chapters
not only that theres a tab in the arknights character bio where you can get a side story of the siege characters helping out some residents from the missions they got from the "Doktah"
I think I'll watch your other lore videos that aren't Arknights too, you have good editing and nice subtitles.
Appreciate the commitment mate
R6S operators were warned to keep their weapons a secret and not allowed others to wield their guns, especially Sanktas.
me whenever a youtuber from another genre mentions arknights
can't wait to see you for the third collaboration comrade [T]7
the Rhodes Island Landship awaits your return
Y'all heard the shrimp, let's get him to that milestone so we can make him serve the "EN don't read" community as one of our story tellers
The timeline is a bit off, but the events are mostly correct, good job on your research. Just don't forget that on the second event team Rainbow have to stop a military captain from making a terrorist attack after being turned into the first ever NFT
biggest W ubisoft has ever done is green-lighting this collab man
Whoa collabs actually linking communities together
W is the GOAT! Can't write wife without W! Total Sarkaz Supremacy!
Don't forget that Terrans don't always fight barehanded, as some can cast magic. Also their bows alone can be as deadly as Earth guns
Arknights sleeper agent activated, D12strike: inbound
Don’t worry about the Arknights sleeper agents,
Be afraid of the Project Moon fans.
