Umm seems to be a battle of the two carbon racers next to nobody has picked up and at these prices hard to see why you would take a punt on them over more tried and tested ones that are cheaper or at least no more. Also never entirely compelling if the best reason to spend £220 on a racing shoe rather than a £260 one is that it is better for doing slow easy miles.
It still troubles me how little the On can take before falling apart. Seems to be the same from all reviews I’ve seen. It’s much better value to have a shoe that lasts beyond its racing prime and you can train in it after.

Thanks for the review. The Echo 3 is not On's best racing shoe, it's actually the On Cloud Tri 1 which their athletes use
