- First and foremost if you're wanting to maximize your crop yield this isn't the mix you should try. But! If you're wanting to diversify your plot this might be a good option. Looking for a way top screen your food plot but also provide food? That's how we're utilizing this blend, to help breakup the views from a nearby gravel road looking into this plot.
At about 80 pounds of soybeans and 7 pounds of corn per acre this plot is going to provide plenty of forage this winter for the wildlife.

Taking a peek at your work again 5 months later trying to learn everything I can thanks for your hard efforts
Looks great!
That's pretty cool. I'm going to plant cover crops in my corn this yr after they spray the corn.
I'm sure that worked pretty good for you Kurt
Do the stratton soybeans need to be innoculated if so what kind of innoculant do you guys recommend. Thanks.
Now go in august 1 -15 and put 200 lbs to the acre of winter rye and you will end up having food into the late winter early spring time period!
Oats work great deer love them
My area ran a great crop this year with about 15lb/ acre corn had a mix of a beans and forage beans combined. I'd up your rate of corn for plot breakup and windbreak for the wildlife
We had to go light for maintenance with herbicide. Lots of Sericea lespedeza.
Wood you increase soybean rate in a smaller field
Was soya just broadcasted?
Mixed in the no toll drill
How did you spray and not crush the corn?
Ron Swanson we used a boom less sprayer
LAND&LEGACY Does the corn stand back up like the beans do? Do you just drive right over it?
Looks really good congratulations man I hope you do well there this year
