Can you make a video where you talk about where you order from and how you find out about limited editions before they come out? Thanks for taking the time to share your amazing collection with us.
Thanks Charles. Maybe one day I could but it wouldn't be too exciting. There's no special secret to it. Just old fashioned, time consuming, research online across various store websites, collectors forums and social media sites 👍
I have just stumbled across your channel when your tour of your collection video showed up as a recommendation. I love physical media and when I saw your video all I could think of was Wayne and Garth dropping to the floor saying " We're not ot Worthy!" I am now going through your back catalog seeing all that you have added since that video. Keep the videos coming.
Man, your museum is just magnificent! I have no words to describe. I'm Brazilian, and if I had a collection like this every day, I would come in to admire it. I imagine the fortune you've already spent and still spend to have it all in hand. The advantage is that you live in a country where the currency is very strong! While here in Brazil our currency, which is the Real, is very devalued. So for me to have a collection like yours, I would have to be very rich.
Thanks for watching Wagner. Sucks to hear the Brazilian Real is so weak right now. Yeah, I'm fortunate the Aussie dollar is quite strong but the shipping alone from certain countries can be super expensive. Shipping one box set from the Czech Republic can cost more than the actual box set which is crazy. And then there's all the Amazon's except for USA who no longer ship to Aus. That's made collecting harder and shipping from abroad even more expensive. Tough times for lots of collectors unfortunately. 👍
Another fantastic video thankyou. We watched your previous video and liked the Angel movies from the 80's so we ordered the box set and it arrived last week. Really happy with the remastered picture quality.

Love these videos, the highlight of the month for me. :) Cool to see the different versions and limited editions that are available in the world. Definitely have to get me one of those Filmarena collection editions. Cheers from Finland... Keep the videos coming.
Thank you so much. Appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching. Definitely recommend Film Arena's editions. Spider Man: Far From Home maniacs goes on sale this week so can't wait to showcase that in a future video - it looks stunning from all the pictures I've seen. Thanks again, cheers.
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 Browsed through Film Arena's website today and was suprised that the Terminator 2 Judgement Day Maniac Box wasn't sold out? I've read a lot about the picture quality on the different releases of T2, and not all reviews are that good. Thanks bud. Congrats on grabbing the Joker Umania lenti. In hindsight I wished I'd got the lenti too. I still think one of the other premium companies may use the same artwork because it's such a natural fit for a lenticular but if they don't, I'll be kicking myself I passed on Umania's. Display that proudly my friend 👍
Wilsonian Movie Museum yes got it in the other day and is a beautiful edition great effect. Will be interesting what the others do with there editions but like you so they got to use the same artwork as is great fit.
Those premium editions look great, especially The Mummy trilogy (loved the first two growing up as well haha). Great Arrow pickups as well, love De Palma. I still need to watch Darlin, I quite enjoyed the Woman and want to see where the story goes from there. Those mediabooks look great and I really want to check out Necronomicon, I'm sold on it knowing it's a Lovecraft anthology film (Jeffrey Combs is a bonus too). The Evil Dead set is great as well, I still wish I grabbed the Scream Factory Army of Darkness release when it was still available, not sure which edition to pick up now. Very jealous of The Fly collection as well, I really need to get around to grabbing that. I could go on and on about your pickups, they're all so sick haha. Great stuff dude 😀
Thanks guys. Yeah got a lot of great horror titles this month. Definitely hunt down a copy of Necornomicon. Not many countries have released it on Blu so it was great to get a HD edition. I know you love your Arrow and VS editions and I'd bet this one would be right up your street 👍
Incredible haul as always! And you've never seen Phantom Of The Paradise yet? It's one of my top 10 FAVES! But I'm curious if Arrow's is any better than the Shout! release? Fear & Loathing... I hear ya. An 'acquired taste' at best, and I think Criterion's release does enough justice that can be done for it. Joker - I still haven't seen yet, but splurged on the Umania lenticular. So it better be GOOD!!! LOL The Meth Mobile - that's also hilarious!!! Can't say I'm a fan of Short Circuit, but have to say that bust and release is really stunning!
Yeah planning another one, most likely a year after the first so in a couple of months hopefully. Still got some rearranging of the Marvel / DC wall to do and also got more steelbook magnets inbound so want to get that all presented nicely before doing the next tour. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi from Italy, I’m new to your videos and i really like your contents. Finally i found a channel where to explore this passion. Can i ask you which are the best web sites where to find or to stay up to date about exclusive releases and suchlike? Thanks in advance!
Hi Riccardo. Thanks for watching. I've always found the community forum on Hi Def Ninja a great source for up and coming special releases, premium steelbooks, limited editions, exclusive slipcover releases and the like - there's a wealth of knowledge on there and it's constantly getting updated 👍 www.hidefninja.com/community/
I love watching your monthly update videos, I would never of even known that these huge specialist boxsets even existed if it was not for you. Here is a list of everything I've bought since Black Friday, they are not the same type of films you collect. I decided that most of these Hollywood blockbusters are constantly being re-released (DVD/Blu-Ray/3D/4K) and are available on streaming, so I stick with more vintage rare films. From Arrow Accademy: Jamaica Inn The Major And The Minor The Dark Mirror Phantom Lady The Killers The Big Combo The Night Of The Hunter Sullivan's Travels My Name Is Julia Ross Hold Back The Dawn The Glass Key The Blue Dhalia The Killing The Bells Of St. Mary's From Eureka Masters Of Cinema: Ace In The Hole M (Fritz Lang) Touch Of Evil Witness For The Prosecution Hush...Hush... Sweet Charlotte Cloak And Dagger Laura Double Indemnity The Woman In The Window The Lost Weekend The Criterion Collection: Cat People Now Voyager Detour 12 Angry Men The Uninvited Diabolique Mildred Pierce The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg Indicator: Dragonwyck Ministry Of Fear Footsteps In The Fog No Orchids For Miss Blandish BFI: The Third Man Night And The City Room At The Top Warner Brothers: Citizen Kane Bogart & Bacall The Complete Collection (To Have And Have Not / The Big Sleep / Dark Passage / Key Largo) What Ever Happened To Baby Jane The House of Wax 3D (1953) Mystery Of The Wax Museum (1933) 20th Century Fox Kiss Of Death All About Eve Forever Marilyn 4 Film Collection (Some Like It Hot (MGM)/ Gentlemen Prefer Blondes / The Seven Year Itch / How To Marry A Millionaire) Studio Canal Summer Holiday Pink String And Sealing Wax Others The Changeling (Second Sight) Scarlet Street (Kino Classics) The Strange Love Of Martha Ivers (HD Cinema Classics) The Red Shoes (ITV Studios Home Entertainment)
That's a great selection there dude. Lots of classics you'll probably never see on streaming. Admittedly I haven't seen many of them or as you say, collect them, but I do adore Night of The Hunter. That's a great pick. Robert Mitchum is brilliant in it. If there's any you'd recommend for me let me know 👍
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 It's a tough one to call as we all have different tastes. As you can see I'm quite in to Film Noir at the moment, Just ordered the original Postman Always Rings Twice. The Night Of The Hunter was an amazing film, it had such an amazing visual style almost like the modern Sin City films. Also it was creepy as hell for it's age. If I had to recommend 5 films from my list I would say the following based on your taste for horror:- The Dark Mirror (1946) - great special effect of one actor playing twins, made me think of M.J.F in Back To The Future. M. (Fritz Lang) (1931) (in German) - One of the first serial killer films. The Uninvited (1944) - One of the first films to take ghosts seriously. Diabolique (1955) (In French) - A great ending which the makers say don't spoil for people. The Killing (1956) - Inspired films like Reservoir Dogs and The Dark Knight bank robbery. Diabolique has actually been uploaded on to TH-cam for free, I bought after seeing it. Here's the link:- th-cam.com/video/h66gU9prCeM/w-d-xo.html The Killing Trailer:- th-cam.com/video/3mgmyuYcCUE/w-d-xo.html M Trailer:- th-cam.com/video/nsVproWjN6c/w-d-xo.html The Uninvited Trailer:- th-cam.com/video/siqSUaML-Ig/w-d-xo.html The Dark Mirror full film, but in low quality compared to the blu-ray. th-cam.com/video/fm-TDYFrrRI/w-d-xo.html Enjoy.
Thanks bud. I appreciate the kind words. I guess first decide whether you want to collect everything or just one type of release... aka just steelbooks or mediabooks or just one genre like Horror or action... or if you're like me, grab a bit of everything. Also, personally, buying movies and watching them is only part of the fun of being a collector for me. Choose somewhere in your home you can display your collection. Display it proudly and you'll get more out of collecting than just owning the movie. For me, the whole process of researching online, to preordering and waiting in anticipation, to having it arrive and unboxing it, and then being able to position it on my shelves is part of why I love collecting physical media. Finally taking it off the shelf to watch it is the final step in a process I've spent over 25 years of my life doing and I loved it when I was a kid, displaying my videos, and I still love doing it today. I hope that helps dude 👍
FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE !!! I recommend the movie Jabberwocky by Gilliam; that is one of the best movies about political economics ever made!
Glad you love the movie dude. I've just never really been a Gilliam fan. 12 Monkeys is probably my favourite of those I've seen and even then I wasn't blown away by it.
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 have you seen the cabinet of dr panassus( I think it's written differently..) from 2008? the last movie with heath ledger. that's a film by terry that you might like. really great.
Thanks Pedro. If I had to bet I'd say HDZeta... their current run of Premium One Click editions for the DCEU have all been incredible and their Nolan Batman trilogy release was absolutely mind blowing. They've featured a lenticular cover on each of their One Click boxes (known as Gold Label editions) so I'm sure they'll come up with something equally as stunning for Joker 👍 Shouldn't be much longer now before the announce details and reveal the artwork.
Wilsonian Movie Museum mind sharing the website for that? Also love the videos Man. Your collection is one of the best I’ve seen and the passion you have for it is great. Can wait too see more videos soon!!!
Hello there. A great monthly movie pick up as always. Looking forward to them every month. :) How do you find the different editions you buy? Like the necronomicon mediabook for example. That was pretty cool. :)
In no collector, much prefer to enjoy watching your pick ups. But I would love to get a special edition of Bladerunner 2049, I don’t suppose you know of a good special edition I could pick up in the UK? I missed the boat on the whisky glass box set when it first came around.
Thank you. No BR2049 editions in the UK I know of other than the Steelbook and whiskey glass edition. A few cool releases in Europe though. Germany released the Deckard Blaster edition which was a real beauty. Expensive, but the model of the blaster was very nice. Unfortunately goes for silly money now on eBay. Film Arena in the Czech Republic also released one of their maniacs box sets which was amazing. Again, sold out now though and very expensive on the resale market 👍
Arrow I'll get from Zavvi or direct from the Arrow website. Criterion I usually pick from Amazon US but I don't buy too many Criterions really unless I really love the film 👍
I saw your movie collection video and in the beginning I noticed some movie posters on your wall and I was wondering if you remember were you got them?
Way back when I lived in the UK. That was nearly 10 years ago now dude. I brought them over with me when I moved. So probably HMV if I had to guess. I don't remember shopping for posters anywhere else so it was probably there I got them 👍
Another fine pieces added to your collection. Looks like every month is a long christmas eve down under😁 Have been drooling over that Mummy edition for a little while and finally could buy it but then they changed the import rules here in Norway. So it would been insanely expensive. Do you pay much extra to import to Australia?
Thanks dude. Yeah costs of imports can be pricey to Australia. It used to be there was no tax on anything under $1000.00 but now the rules have changed and Amazon US and eBay now charge 10% GST (Tax) to import goods of any value. The majority of Amazon's refused to follow the new GST rules and chose to stop sending to us all together which makes collecting some of the limited editions even harder. Places like Amazon UK, France, Germany, Italy and Japan no longer ship to Australia so I have to rely on friends and family to help if there's anything from them I'm chasing. Cost of just shipping stuff to here too can be very expensive. Just one of those premium editions can cost between $60 - $100 just for shipping. Some Maniacs boxsets from Czech Republic can cost near $200.00 just for shipping. It's wild but my choice to live somewhere so far away for all the cool stuff 🤣👍
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 Yeah, its kinda crazy. You can only find those editions online and not a physical store in your country. Cant see how that can conflict with businesses in the country you sre importing to. But for some reason you can order tons of books without beeing punished economicaly🤔 I imported a lot of special edition dvds from England, USA and Canada years ago but has not bee able to do that last few years with blu-rays. It sucks😭 But i try now to buy when i am travelling instead. Have picked up many good editions that way😁 But keep em coming🤘
Hi there, new subscriber since last month! ^__^ Really love your humongous collection and not because it's just big but of the rare media. I also really love to collect physical media. I watched the entire video and I would definitely be down to watch a video (if you will ever make it or make them) where you show off every movie cover :p I wonder how many you have right now. So I have a few questions though. How do you even hunt like special covers or dvd box sets or steelbook/slipcae or special editions? And I'm talking about the standard stuff, standard but special covers and things like big collector's edition or one click editions etc. Your collection also contains movies/media from other countries right? For instance The Dark Knight you bought one in your own country but also have another one from say Germany. This is correct right? Like with a Deutch description on the back? How do you keep up to date with the one click editions or like rare editions such as Man of Steel, BvS and Justice League Jim lee Comic Book Steelbook covers. Or Game of Thrones steelbook with magnets? I'm around 400 dvd's now and never really got into buying blu ray or 4k because I want to keep growing my dvd collection. But on other hand blu ray is ofc way better but it is expensive. I don't know what to do, do I buy both copy? Do I just continue with blu ray? I do sometimes buy blu ray now, because of the extra bonus and special editions for certain movies like DCEU and MCU. Sorry for the long comment... But love your collection and will keep on watching now and all the other videos up until now 2020 Happy Hunting!!!
No David, no emails on the big releases. Basically browse a lot of websites for the info, speak to other collectors who return their knowledge and basically stay ahead of the releases by first learning about and preorder them the moment they go live. Some of the premium releases are so hard to acquire I use Groups Buys to secure them on sites like Hi Def Ninja and Media Psychos 👍

I had it preordered before official beauty shots but then it turned out it was the exact same model as the French ESC Distribution bust I got last year, apart from different font on the title, so I cancelled my order from Zavvi. Now Germany are getting the same bust again but for a release of Hellraiser IV from '84 films. I've never seen the same bust released by so many different labels. Old Pinhead is definitely getting around 😂
Not really. Most of the time if I hate a movie it's too late because I've already bought it and am watching it for the first time. There's loads I've bought, watched once, and never want to watch again but I'll still keep those in my collection. Keeping the good as well as the trash reminds me of the old video rental stores growing up where there'd be a good mix of everything 👍
Nah mate. I don't collect anything that doesn't have the movie included. I have a few vinyls but only because they came with the movie editions. I did once collect video games as well but I've since gone mostly digital on those.

Thanks in advance!
Hi Riccardo. Thanks for watching. I've always found the community forum on Hi Def Ninja a great source for up and coming special releases, premium steelbooks, limited editions, exclusive slipcover releases and the like - there's a wealth of knowledge on there and it's constantly getting updated 👍

If I had to recommend 5 films from my list I would say the following based on your taste for horror:-
The Dark Mirror (1946) - great special effect of one actor playing twins, made me think of M.J.F in Back To The Future.
Here's the link:- th-cam.com/video/h66gU9prCeM/w-d-xo.html
The Killing Trailer:- th-cam.com/video/3mgmyuYcCUE/w-d-xo.html

The Uninvited Trailer:- th-cam.com/video/siqSUaML-Ig/w-d-xo.html
The Dark Mirror full film, but in low quality compared to the blu-ray. th-cam.com/video/fm-TDYFrrRI/w-d-xo.html
Enjoy.
remember very little of fly or how many there are by now
what is your favorite cut of Dawn of the Dead?
I think the extended cut aka cannes cut is the best because of the extended mall scenes.
For me i'd probably say theatrical. I always thought it had better pacing and was more enjoyable.
Yooo i was waiting for this months's video. This is my current favorite youtube channel. You just inspires me to be a collector as well. Any tips??
Is there a place in the usa where you can get similar stuff like that
I have exactly the same print of Necronomicon. Wow the 1st numbered! I have number 123
Love the new pickups. Quick question who do you think is going to have the best Joker special release? Can’t wait to see how many releases it gets.
How do you find the different editions you buy? Like the necronomicon mediabook for example. That was pretty cool. :)
What is the price of that Aquaman figure?
Was 190 Euro shipped to the UK. That's just over $300 aussie dollars, plus then shipping from the UK to here... Ouch.
great movie
Offspring offers some explanation to the sequence with the baby at the beginning of The Woman.
So it is connected then. That's cool. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to watching it 👍
Great update! Where do you get the special editions like Arrow or Criterion? I never see them here in US anywhere.
Arrow I'll get from Zavvi or direct from the Arrow website. Criterion I usually pick from Amazon US but I don't buy too many Criterions really unless I really love the film 👍
In which websites do you buy all these things?? They are incredible.
I have too many to list dude but if there's any item's you're serious about buying let me know and I'll give you the link 👍
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 thank you. If someday i Will like to buy anything like this i Will let you know
I saw your movie collection video and in the beginning I noticed some movie posters on your wall and I was wondering if you remember were you got them?
Way back when I lived in the UK. That was nearly 10 years ago now dude. I brought them over with me when I moved. So probably HMV if I had to guess. I don't remember shopping for posters anywhere else so it was probably there I got them 👍
Wilsonian Movie Museum thanks!
Where can i get special editions like these?
All purchased from various stores around the internet. It takes time to research and learn what's out there but it's worth it in the end 👍
To Wilsonion movie museum
My nan passed but u have made me really happy from Louise Dinofan
Hi Louise. My condolences. So sorry for your loss. Thank you for watching and for commenting, it means the world to me. Cheers 👍
Hi there, new subscriber since last month! ^__^
Really love your humongous collection and not because it's just big but of the rare media.
But love your collection and will keep on watching now and all the other videos up until now 2020
Happy Hunting!!!
I was just wondering, with a collection like yours, how much on average do you spend a month?
do you just get emails from the big editions when they come out holding out for a nice joker box set
@@wilsonianmoviemuseum8420 I know you are probably busy man but once you hear anything about joker could you let us know really want one very nice set just text me name of company that's doing it and I'll do rest my self if you can thanks
@@davidsheehan4087. Hey bud. Best keeping an eye on these 4 threads. As soon as there's any new information on each... such as artwork, release date etc. the threads get updated almost immediately 👍

Fear and Loathing has never really entertained me either, but it sure has some beautiful art work on it.
Where do you buy these editions?
Online shops.
Are you/did you get the pinhead arrow video bust edition?
I had it preordered before official beauty shots but then it turned out it was the exact same model as the French ESC Distribution bust I got last year, apart from different font on the title, so I cancelled my order from Zavvi. Now Germany are getting the same bust again but for a release of Hellraiser IV from '84 films. I've never seen the same bust released by so many different labels. Old Pinhead is definitely getting around 😂
Is there any films you hated that much you refuse to have in your collection?
Not really. Most of the time if I hate a movie it's too late because I've already bought it and am watching it for the first time. There's loads I've bought, watched once, and never want to watch again but I'll still keep those in my collection. Keeping the good as well as the trash reminds me of the old video rental stores growing up where there'd be a good mix of everything 👍
you are not into collecting vinyl?
Nah mate. I don't collect anything that doesn't have the movie included. I have a few vinyls but only because they came with the movie editions. I did once collect video games as well but I've since gone mostly digital on those.
Aquaman looks like a wimp compared to the other statues.
Hahaha Jason Momoa looks like he does in that new TV ad 😂
That evil dead dvd ! Plus im french Canadian...you need help ?
Thanks Carl but I'm all good dude. I doubt I'll ever have time for the board game. Appreciate the offer though dude. Cheers 👍
Those premium editions are horrendously expensive.
Would you consider promoting my patreon if it got you a free copy of an indie film?
if you don't like the limited edition of fear and loathing you can send it to me^^
lucalone pretty sure he doesn’t give away stuff
@@JBaymusic1 yeah, unless it's a duplicate, I'll keep the movies I don't like because it's still apart of this collection I've built... the good, the bad and the ugly 👍
