I agree, he needs to work at it and get some lessons. But at the end of the day, I think we can both agree, people get paid by their producing skills (i.e. their music) rather than their DJ-ing skills.
Gonna see him at All My Friends Music Festival in a week and I’m fucking excited to hear all the tracks he has to offer. I’ve heard he isn’t the best mixer and from the comments I’ve read. It’s not his skill of his mixing but his ability to produce beats/songs that other dj’s spin in their sets. Now that’s not easy to do.

Trust me guys, he is live DJ'ing overhere. At 15:52, you can see on the screen, a loop repeating hisself on the screen, and you hear it. He is DJ'ing digital, that's why there isn't any red light showing on the DJ decks. The red lights are only showing when there is a CD in the deck. MK don't DJ like Avicii or another big DJ artists. They don't play live, because the lights must be synchronously with the music. At this festival, the lights are just doing some things, nothing more. And whatever, you come to a festival to see the DJ and hear some exclusive hits from it, so don't cry.

The guy is a top producer/ remixer and can DJ . I produce and DJ myself enjoying both. I remember when CDJ's first come out , I didn't like them and preferred vinyl , but over the years I realised it's not about what tools you use to play your music it's the final result is what counts. I now use vinyl , CDJ and tractor to play all my music. MK is clearly using tractor here so he can mess about with the tune as he goes. When your raving it up you can't normally see what the DJ is doing , what's important is how it sounds and comes across. I think he done a good job here, considering the crowd were a bit flat. At the end of the day it's all down to personal preference !

But the tracks that are loaded in the software are just a second screen from the main screen from the dj behind, or how can you explain the play/pause lights never are ON in the cdjs?
rafamtb1 if he uses traktor, why would the cdjs even be on? I have laptop and controller (he has z1 in video) and no cdjs. Hope that helps clear that up.

The red decks only work when you have them linked using rekordbox. using a laptop they don't turn red. Lots of different ways of playing on cdjs
