Even with a humbucker to single coil simulation it will sound close but not exact. To get accurate results, you need to follow the exact specs of equipment that was used during the recording. Hope this helps!

Strats and Teles are the most common to get for beginners, but since u wanna learn Tabuchi Hisako parts, you can consider something like a Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster?

did you put custom pickups on your telecaster deluxe? I know they usually come with two humbuckers but on yours it seems like they are single coils correct me if I’m wrong lol

Telecaster middle position > mid gain Vox 90’s AC30 > abit of compressor and EQ (cut the mids abit) = instant Mukai tone

For neck pickup I change it for single coil, but bridge I kept it as is (stock p90 duncan design pickup)
