I used to have these candies with different designs when I was a teen. Never ever in a million years have I thought it required so much effort to make.
They make it in hours and we eat it in some seconds

they don't necessarily have to be done with as much effort, those same candies can easily be done by machines in factory, so depends where you got them

My favorit part tho
The bubbling color mixing is ½ the reason I watch and ⅛ for the scissoring, ¼ for the folding and ⅛ for the chipping.

amazing amount of thought went into making that candy ... would love to see what the recipe for something like that would look like ... so much of this colour and that one and so on ... then the plans of what shapes to use and what order to go in etc ... they must be almost a novel with sheer information.

На производстве лучше получатся, чем так вручную тянуть карамельную массу.
Конечно во время варки всё понятно, сахар варится и патока ( инвертный сироп), добавляется.
Ну в ручную, это тяжёлый труд!
Я сама проработала на производстве " Кондитерской фабрике " 27 лет. Но не конфеты это. А карамель!!!
Процесс технологии всё правильно. Просто очень много красителей.
